Sorry, sorry, sorry for making everyone loose their minds. Had a minor family emergency that prevented me from getting on and updating. But I promise that I will have a new chapter up tomorrow night. I know, definitely a bad place to have to leave it for the last few days. Don't hate me.

Brennan kissed him passionately, slipping her leg over his
lap and straddling him, the feel of his arousal spurring her on. Booth groaned
in her mouth, trying to catch his breath as Brennan’s hand slipped under the
thin fabric of his boxers.





“Whoa Bones, not so fast,” He broke away smiling at her
swollen lips and dazed expression, turning her over with her back on the bed,
“We don’t have to rush this.”





“Booth,” her voice was breathy and pleading; her hips
squirmed and bucked underneath him only fueling his conviction to draw this out
for them.





With a quick nip to her supple lips, he rested his knee
between her legs, entwined his fingers with one of hers and dove to Brennnan’s
neck tasting the sweet flavor of her skin. He grinned against her collarbone as
her breathing grew even more ragged.





Moving down her body, he released her full breasts from
their confines, the sight of her near naked in front of him knocking the air
from his lungs. “God, you’re so beautiful.” Booth whispered before paying
intimate attention to the deep valley and soft peaks that were revealed.





Her body was on fire with each caress, each deep throaty
moan that escaped his lips as they moved over her body leaving goose bumps in
their wake. No man had ever given so much attention to her, such care and love
not that she had ever let them, wanting too badly to feel the waves of pleasure
roll. This acknowledgment scared her.





Booth sensed it, the moment she pulled away. Bringing
himself back up along her body, his concerned brown eyes met hers and what he
saw was fear as Brennan fought to hold back tears.





“Hey,” he caressed her cheek, brushing her hair away.





“I can’t,” she laid her hand over his, tears streaking down.
“I don’t know how to do this.”





“It’s okay….shh, its okay…shh,” he kissed her temples, her
nose, her lips softly.





His tenderness stole her words, Brennan’s only available
response a trusting nod.





Ridding them of their last remaining garments, Booth poised
himself over her. Taking Brennan’s hands on either side them, he held her gaze
a moment before sinking down into her.





They froze, eyes widening as the intensity of their
connection hit like a title wave. Booth began a steady, languid rhythm feeling
Brennan vibrate uncontrollably beneath him. Her eyes shut as the pleasure
tightened steadily, their breathing in sync just like their heated bodies.





Drawing closer to release Booth urged Brennan to open her
eyes. She acquiesced with difficulty, the mixture of feelings rushing through
as the utter rapture of him inside her sent her closer and closer to the edge.





“With me, Bones,” his breathing gruff and labored as he
increased his pace, “Come with me.”





She gasped as waves of pleasure rolled over her, Booth
following shortly after. Clutching him to her body as they rode out crash after
crash, Brennan knew that this was forever, that he was hers and she was his and
nothing she had ever felt could compare.





“I love you Booth.”

Puppy is great, probably the most adorable thing I have ever laid eyes on. This was my first real love scene in a fanfic, so it's definitely not my best writing. It took me a while to flesh out how to deal with it seeing as I am so inexperienced at writing them. Hope it doesn't show too much.

I think it was an EXCELLENT chapter Bionic! Truly excellent. It was sensual and emotional, just how it should be. Great job!

So glad you love your puppy, and hope your family is doing okay. What kind of puppy did you get?

Glad that you liked it. Not so nervous about it now.

My puppy is a Shih-Poo. Half Shitzu and half poodle. She is 8 weeks old and 2 lbs.

That was really, really fantastic! Wouldn't have known it was your first time at that kinda scene if u hadn't said!!!!! Waiting for more of your truly wonderful writing.

Will post another chapter later tonight. Until then, figured I would show you the new addition to my family. Her name is Pattie, after my nana who passed away four months ago from lung cancer.

She listened to the steady cadence of his heart beat under
her head as they lay tangled in each other’s legs and the sheets. Booth’s
fingers traced lazy circles up and down her spine.

Tilting her head up Brennan finally understood what it meant
to feel like there were butterflies in her stomach. The smile he gave her
spread across his entire ruggedly handsome face momentarily provoking the curl
of desire.

“Booth?”

“Yeah babe?” The smile widened if it was possible.

“Booooth.” Her warning glare elicited an eye roll.

“Yeah, I figured that wouldn’t go over smoothly.” Booth put on his mock serious face, then nodded for her to continue.


Twisting to lay on her stomach over Booth’s chest, Brennan
rested her chin on her hands, “I understand the reasons that compel you to feel
the need to protect me from harm,” he shifted, the topic of conversation all
too somber for the intimacy of the moment,” and the situation that we are in
has evoked those tendencies, but please don’t be the hero this time, don’t go
after Silva. Let the FBI and U.S. Marshals take care of it.”

“Bones, I can’t just give up when I am so close to ending
all of this. I don’t know how.”

Brennan took a deep breath and exhaled trying to control the
temper that had caused her to say the things that caused so much damage
earlier.


She looked down, placing soft kisses on Booth’s clavicle
before burying her face in the crook of his neck drinking in his smell. “You
were wrong earlier Booth.”


It was a whisper that he barely caught she said it so softly,
“Wrong about what Bones?”

“You said that if something happened to me you wouldn’t be
able to survive, implying that I couldn’t understand because I would be able to
survive. But you were wrong.”


“Oh darling, I sorry.” He stroked her cheek and lifted her
chin up to rest on his arm, making sure she saw how sorry he truly was for
hurting her, “I didn’t mean to say that.”


“Yes, yes you did.”


“I know you…” her hand cut off his words.


“No Booth, no you don’t know because I never told you.”
Brennan sat up, clutching the thin sheet to her naked body. Booth pushed
himself up, resting his back against the wall.


Her chin quivered, “When you “died” I might have been
physically and intellectually present, but beyond that….I felt nothing, I was
nothing. It isn’t rational, but it was as if a part of me had died with you.”
Tears ran slowly down her cheeks, “I barely survived last time Booth. If you…I
can’t….”


Booth’s eyes began to water watching her recount the pain
that she had previously kept locked away from him for almost a year. Not needing
to hear anymore he pulled Brennan to him, embracing her tightly.


“Okay, Bones.” He nodded, stroking her hair.


‘Tomorrow I’ll go to the Hoover and give them all the information so they can handle Silva.”

Brennan pulled back locking gazes with him, a look of bewildered surprise on her face, “Really?”


“Really.” He reassured her, sealing his promise with a slow,smoldering kiss.


Sinking back to the mattress, the couple spent the rest of
the early morning soothing old scars, healing open wounds and building a new
future together before drifting off to sleep in each other’s arms.

Awe!! That was BEAUTIFUL! I am so glad she voiced her feelings like that and made him understand that he means as much to her as she does to him. I just hope he follows through with what he said and actually does it... I am at an impasse on what I think might happen the following day.

Wow!! I stumbled upon this story late last night and stayed up till the wee hours of the morning reading it, as once I started I simply couldn't tear myself away from it.

It's well written, has beautiful characterization and progression, and the plot itself, well, let's just say it's thought provoking and well played. From Booth and Brennan being led off to seperate safe houses, to Booth calling Max in to protect Brennan while Booth was away trying to hunt down the villian. It's wonderful, and it has continued surprises popping up, which I love.

I sincerely cannot wait to read more of this story, your words are eloquently put, and the progression has been suspensful, intense, and perfectly addictive. (and yes I whole heartedly admit that I am addicted to this tale.)

So basically, I can never promise to post soon whenever I put a new chapter up. Because every time I do, the cosmos scream NO! and put something in my way. My grandfather fell on Saturday and broke his elbow(the actual bone itself escapes me). So seeing as I live with him, I have been his nurse. On top of that school wrapping up before break and the fact that I am single handedly cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people...it's been pretty much impossible for me to get any time to write. My apologies, but thank you for all those that have read, and commented. This week still promises to be hectic, so I won't be able to post anything until roughly Sunday.

Again, sorry for the hold up. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
