Emily Gets Married!

Congrats to Emily and her husband. Hope their marriage is a long and happy one.

no summer or winter!? well, i figured no winter. so it's not any hotter in the summer? at least they have a fall!! though....the thing i love most about shows filmed in LA that take place in Cali is that they don't get the leaves like we get on the east coast. Not as much anyway and you can always tell it's not the place it's supposed to be.

Southern California is described above. Northern California, the REAL California, has four seasons, leaves which change colors, wet Winter, nice Spring, hot Summer, and lovely, lovely Fall. This from a fifth generation Californian, Northern California.

That Smog Shoppe place looks so cool.

Just want to add I LOVE the pic the Aby chose to put up of David and Emily - it's one of a few, and it's one of my favorites. They were in Monaco for some kind of film thing, so I don't feel as bad about the pics. LOL! They just look so in love and so HAPPY!.

Congratulations indeed! We now share the same last name. Too bad I can't claim any relation to her.

I love that they did it so privately. I respect ED more and more all the time.

That pic is nice (they could have gone with poses that look less uncomfortable though). I love ED's wedding dress I'm pleasantly surprised by it. A lot of women go for god awful princess dresses. This one looks much better, suits her very well. The hubby is looking good too. It's a purdy and down to earth photo of them.

Awww, I hope they didn't take this just for public release. I bet they took a ton of pictures (like at every wedding ) and then looked through them and said, "yea, release this one." Lol. And David has a bit of a smile, and I like their pose .... but you're right they do look a tad serious.

But I LOVE her dress. I love that it isn't traditional, and yet it just looks so romantic and fitting with with the small, intimate wedding. Wedding dresses can end up looking so cookie cutter.

So glad they released an offical picture!

yeah. I'm sure they just looked through them all and picked one to release. it really does look like "fine....we'll send it out....but not the really good ones." it's still cute though. Wedding photographers take SO many pictures that by the end you are like "um.....are we done yet?" lol We're lucky to get even one. I really didn't expect that!

I love her dress. it's really pretty and definitely not your traditional style. The coloring looks great on her too.

Thanks for the new link! They do have a bit of a smile in the larger shot. I guess you lose it when strunk down. Emily is so gorgeous. In the more close up pic, there was the nice pale blue nail varnish on Emily's toes! I wonder if that was for a reaon - I think Zooey wore blue (from the obscured, 'unofficial' snaps), although that seemed to be a darker blue.

I'm glad that they released one photo to satisfy the fans'/public's curiosity, and hopefully the media will leave them alone now and not try to dig around for other pics.
