Agree although a would have been good as well. One where they didn't want to let go of each other.

I'm not sure how true to character it is for Booth to leave. Brennan I could understand more and as for Parker.... ??? The hand holding was cute but after all they have been through, and all the hugs they have had... that's it? A kiss would have been magic but a tearful hug seemed more than reasonable to ask after everything.

On a more light-hearted note... I also loathe Booth's army hair. Ick ick ick. It just looks greasy and makes his head look lumpy(!) I'm glad his hair improved throughout the seasons. The outfit was hot though eh?

I'm off for a nap. It's 2.30pm-ish here (UK) and I was up till 5am watching the reactions come through and I've been up since early. Night out tonight so I drown my sorrows. lol

It fits who Brennan and Booth are now. Brennan is running scared. In the pilot, she'd gone to Guatemala after breaking up with a boyfriend. Here, she's off to the Muluku Islands to be a Big Important Anthropologist in a capacity that she hasn't been able to be in five years. It will be interesting to see who Brennan is when she returns.

I think that's the real question - is this who Booth & Brennan are now? Haven't we seen them grow past this sort of childish running away behaviour? Obviously not. But then that leads me to the conclusion, if - after five years - they're not much farther along than they were when they started out, do they really ever get to being cookies? Or will they always be cookie dough?

No one told me at the time! Well, it was a simpler time, and they wanted to shield the children as much as possible.) I'm pretty sure I would have been just as understanding if there was a war on, though probably a lot less happier than I was with simple cruises--they tell me I was quite mature for my age.

But this is no longer Booth's job. To Parker, his dad is FBI, not Army any more. And the only children I have seen be that mature and forward thinking are the ones who grow up to be saints! That line of thinking would have worked better coming out of someone else's mouth, someone more adult...Sweets, maybe? He walks that line of duckling/drake. Anyway... end digression...

This show Bones that you've put together, I love it. Never would I have ever imagined learning so much about the internet, forums, fanfiction, twitter, youtube - not to mention the many friends I've made all across the country and around the world.

That said, I would like to make a desire known. It won't be granted, because the whole idea of TV is commerce, but still I'd like to make it. I'd love to have the show be the story (not a ratings grab) and the actors be the characters (not caricatures or plot devices), so that I could just watch what you have dreamed up to share with us.

I know I must sound like some or something, singing the praises of "Let it Be," but that's about the way it is. This is my letter, and what I want now is the story; I can do without all that other stuff.
