Imo we're very down to earth about celebs foreign or from our own country. For example Keanu Reeves was here recently, he took a cab somewhere, outside the hotel was 1 fan and 1 camera and most people who were there were like ''ye whatever''

Our justice system is weird, mostly no high sentences even for big crimes, thats the only thing that sucks. But here you can't sue Mcdonalds for 24million because a hair was found in your fries and now your scarred for life. I think the only thing you get is your next fries free of charge and a apology for Mcdonalds.

I have a different definition of strong. Strong is someone who will not let yourself be in a situation with another person that continues objectional behaviors, otherwise, why would they quit? Basic leadership. This applies to so many things on this thread. Pick one.

How is she a "fame seeker"? Whether the allegations are true or untrue her career is tarnished. I am sure she knows that. There is no way anyone will want to hire her after this for fear of drama being created.

Bug- Even if her 'career" is trashed, and she won't be able to get a job again in LA, it won't matter. If they settle out of court, for a nice amount of money...she could stand to make more then what she would have in LA. Cuz it looks like to me, she didn't have much of a career to begin with. So, her "career" is porbably a moot point anyway.

The way I look at it too....look at RU. She gets more money now being a...uh...what she is, then she would have doing anything else. Some people don't care...it is all about the money!

Unfortunately this is fame in America. Yes, your average person does not want it or seek it out, but there are a few mixed up people that get sucked into that black hole. Some by choice, some by proximity.
After seeing the TMZ video, I honestly kinda feel sorry for that lady, Hagan. Whether she is lying or not, of course, we will never know that truth. I feel sorry for any woman (or man) that feels this is the way to get your point across, especially with the facts of the case. Generally going public, never helps.

I say this as a generalization - not necessarily about DB's case, but I think Gloria Allred (as does other attorneys) grabs these women and probably like most lawyers spins an entire web of "what we can get" and "how much we can get". And before you know it they have become an eyesore on the population and called names like money grubbing BLEEP BLEEP. When it's probably the attorney that is plotting it all out. Wear this on court day, say this, bend down and pray...
You can't tell me that somewhere along the way one of these men involved in all of these scandals this year, hasn't said the wrong thing to the wrong woman, whether it was misunderstood or not. There is blame to go all around.
Yes, these women knew what they were getting into, but somewhere along the way it all goes bad. Then from bad to worse when an attorney gets involved.

I get why someone wants to present themselves in a positive light, we all do that. I'm curious though as to what motivates someone to expend so much effort to bad mouth someone they don't even know for fighting to keep her family together?

Where we disagree is whether or not we should make a value judgment on a life choice of a woman rather than respecting her right to choose. For example, I chose a career, but I will not pass judgment on or show contempt toward women that made a different choice.

Where we also disagree is the wisdom of arguing that posts in a public area, whether that area is twitter or a discussion board, be parsed in light of our own perceived agenda of what is behind what is being expressed or even if there is an agenda behind what is being expressed. We are all public figures when expressing points of view or attempting to sway opinion (public relations) in any type of forum accessible to the public. If you argue that Jaime’s twitter posts should be parsed with your perceived agenda in mind, whether that agenda appears obvious or not, then it must equally be argued that yours may and should be parsed in the same way. If I went by what might appear to me to be the most obvious agenda for why you post what you post in regards to Jaime, especially in light of questinable language used, then my conclusions to your agenda would not match what you expressed here. I believe Jaime should be allowed to post what she chooses to while allowing each individual reader to supply their own context for it while reading it. And this is why I chose to ask you to put your own post in context rather than arguing for anyone to view your post with my perception of your agenda in mind.

True story. Or perhaps, there are two sides to him. Some guys just can't make a relationship work. They aren't cut out for commitment or they have some kind of issue, so they almost self destruct themselves. BUT, when it comes to every other aspect of their lives...they are good people. It's obvious he's a great father. A great actor and a great friend. Something just went wrong on the relationship front.

Oddly enough, my ex-boyfriend was the exact same way. Even more odd...his name was David. He was a great friend. Could charm and joke his way out of jail if he had to. Everyone adored him. He was good at his job and great with kids. But, the second he got into a relationship....he hit the panic button and ran wild. Literally. All the girls he was friends with adored him....but knew better than to get involved with him romantically. I'm sure there is some psychological explanation for this type of thing.

There are some people who don't see what they are doing as being wrong until they are called on it. We don't know if that applies to KH or DB or to both of them.

Some people, too, believe that they are entitled to certain things because of their position or because of circumstances. How many of us have treated ourselves to something we shouldn't eat simply because we had a bad day? Again, we don't know if this is the case here.

The so-called casting couch in Hollywood existed in the past and probably exists still. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes because people don't really break the code and talk about it until much later. There are many instances of "inappropriate behaviors" reported about sets and about stars after the fact. Too much of the time people will "go along to get along" in their relationships both at home and at work.

Again, we don't know the whole story.

If there is any truth to the lawsuit's claims then it shows a certain amount of desperation on the part of both parties. Anything that comes out of either camp at this point must be taken with a grain of salt since everyone is watching and listening now, especially the lawyers and the suits.

I am sure there are lots of people orchestrating the "next move" for all parties involved. Everyone has an agenda in this lawsuit so it's pretty hard for me to believe one side's motives are more pure than the others. What is really sad in all of this is how innocent parties are forced into the glare of the spotlight and are sometimes being sullied just because of their association with the show or with the people involved.

Hollywood is a culture, im just going to compare it to the army because thats what culture im most familair with.

Every culture has their unspoken rules about what is to be brought public and what not. What I have noticed that when it does become public because one party made it, neither of the parties win at the end and the real winners are the press and gossiplovers.

Look at that rachel uchitel girl, yes she got money now and a fame, is it all good, I doubt she loves being called a skank / whore / bitch etc. She's going to have that tag for the rest of her life, why because in this computer-era Google doesn't forget.

Rachel got 10 million from Tiger and just made a TV deal for 500,000. She might have made more from Donald Trump's show, but she didn't seem like she could wait.
That is a lot of money.
