I look forward to this one hour of good old rock music every week

It's okay, they're finally gone.

I like classic rock. Actually, I like most types of music except rap and country. Oh, and I'm not real big on classical music either...

starting with AC/DC what more could you possibly hope for?

yeah rap isn't my kind of music either, although I do like Eminem but that's an exception to a rule....and every rule needs some exception

country....hmmm some songs aren't that bad and I liked Bon Jovi's Lost Highway album and that was supposed to be influenced by country.....but that's about it

classical music reminds me too much of very boring hours having music in school, in Germany you have to take Art and Music for most of your time in school and you can not get out of that at all and I hated it

all this I'm a nice guy talk is making me want to strangle him....
more doing good stuff and less talking about it would be a nice change in routine

I think Eminem has something to say in most of his songs
you might have to listen very carefully to figure out what exactly that is, but at least it's not about tits and asses all the time
and if it is he is making fun of one of those wannabe famous people
like the whole Lohan clan

oh I almost forgot that Bono had hair back in the 80's
not that that made him look any better

True, but one of his earliest songs had lyrics to the effect of killing his gf and putting her body in the trunk of his car and pushing it off a cliff, or something like that. I can't remember exactly, but I do remember it disturbed me...lol

I really don't have any issues with Bono himself, but I do enjoy U2...at least most of their stuff.

not about actually doing it, but just how easy life could be IF it would happen?

and some of their songs are good too

it's just that Bono likes to act like he is the only one doing anything nice for the people out there and he's always telling everyone about all the good stuff he does
but you never see anything really happening, he let's people use his name and sings for charity but he never does something himself

and he's in German newspapers a lot because he's such a good guy, I guess I just saw his face about 2 million times too many

I'll have to wait a whole week for the next opportunity to have one hour of good rock
(on TV that is.....but just choosing a CD doesn't count)
