No, just rain. But I must put my Christmas tree up today. Oh, and I have to go to the grocery store at some point, since I didn't make it there yesterday...

but that might just be german tradition.....I think in most parts of germany the tree is put up on the 24th......
I think we won't even have one.....no one there to look at the stupid thing anyway

Some people do it Christmas Eve, but to me, it's too late. You only have a few days to enjoy it before you take it down. Normally I would have it up already.

that's true, I think we always had it up Christmas Eve and took it down on Epiphany (I hope that's the right word.....had to google it)

I thought all americans would have this inflatable green thing to hang from the roof upside down to fit more presents underneath now.......there were pictures of that thing everywhere two or three years ago

I've never heard of it. Sounds weird. I love having a real tree because of the smell, and just because it looks better. But I haven't really had the money to spend for the last few years, so we've put up the pitiful fake one I bought for like $20 many years ago...lol. You can see right through it...it's pretty bad, lol.

I hate real trees......I always manage to step onto one of its needles and it will go right throught the socks and the skin to be stuck somewhere in my foot......I have a talent for accidents like that.....
