Yeah, I know, but when she mentioned meeting a vampire, it just seems like he might have remembered. Not that it bothered me or anything, I was just wondering, lol. Angel had really come so far by then....who knew a 240something year old person could actually grow up...LOL!
I thought the scene was both funny and mean at the same time...I didn't know how to feel...especially since we as an audience knew things that happened that noone else in that room did since the only other person who knew was Doyle...

Buffy was in his dreams and saw the things that he did, and she accepted that and realized the difference between Angel and Angelus. Cordy couldn't.

- I would have totally agreed with you back in season 2 of Angel... and then the writers managed to convince me that they were a plausible couple ... then the writers ruined it. Which probably explains my very outspoken comments about how much I hate Season 4 as a whole.

- I've always thought that having Angel think that he was making love to Cordy to lose his soul was just Joss trying to stir things up...pissing off the Buffy/Angel shippers and satisfying the Cordy/Angel shippers. I mean really...you're telling me that they can have a spell to give someone a soul, but not have one that just takes it? Please...with the magic that they conjured up on both shows, that just doesn't wash with me. They brought back the dead for goodness sake! I mean, I understand the extra magic to put the curse on his soul in the first place, but I think that shaman should have just been able to say a spell and capture Angel's soul...no induced happiness needed. And just the fact that Wes says, he claims to be able to extract souls...plural. Makes it seem as though he's done it before...
Actually, come to think of it, they could have just given Angel the drug that the actress gave him in season 1 that produced Angelus for a short time...that would have been a lot easier! lol

But I watched that episode the other day and when they bring back his soul with him and Cordy - he screams out Buffy's name when he's turning. So that proves his love for her and what he remembers makes him lose his soul - a moment of true happiness. True happiness with Buffy not Cordy.
