Thanks for the explanation. I don't think that happens much here. People are usually happy to be in a good school instead of public school. Some of which are really good. Mine was ok. But they put me in some mixed ability classes because of overcrowding and I really didn't do well there. Like in english. I wanted to partake in the discussion about the book, but only four of about thirty other people did too Sad Same in french. Geography was kind of wierd mix of people, but or teacher was so sound you would never have noticed. She was fantastic at managing the mixed abilities of everyone.

Wanting to learn was not the best thing...
that sounds like where i was.... everyone was together... which sometimes sucked a bit... but i was mostly ok... there was a really good system where you could book appointments with your teachers and discuss stuff with them with out having to go at a snails pace or stating the obvious...

had to babysit last night for the little pork roast (thats what i call my nephew).....he is getting so big..........and has a double chin already.............hee hee.........

going to watch him tonight also........thats why i am here now........cause i wont be able to be here later..........i swear he knows when i pick up the laptop.......then he starts crying..........urghhhhhhhhhhhhh

now usually i dont watch the babies..........but i am getting paid some big bucks....so....what the hell............

Wow. I remember our biology teacher decided we were going to skip genetics and study ecology instead because we didn't have enough time for both. She sid if anyone was really interested in genetics we could come to her after to talk about covering the chapters.

When four of us went to her, she was a bit shocked (though I don't know why. We were her super nerds) and said she hadn't really expected people to want to learn outside of class and she didn't actually have the time to do it. End of story. Now at the time I thought I wanted to be an immunologist so that was pretty annoying!

i actually reached a point of near nervous breakdown when an experiment i did forced me to conclude that photosynthesis did not occur in spinach leaves...!!!!!

it was a specific sixth form college... so they were a bit more prepared for enthusiastic students i think...
