it's not a weird question... i'm taking a year out before i go to university in september to earn some money to try and soften the blow of student debt a little...

anyway... at the moment i'm working at my dance school six days a week teaching and admin stuff and i'm trying to do amature show in the evening and stuff because i figure i've spent to much on dance lessons i may as well do some other stuff (and i really enjoy it...)

but yeah... i have my uni place for september and i CANNOT WAIT to go....

i seriously don't understand how anyone can afford to go to college in the states.... it is soooo expensive...

here everyone moans because we even have tuition fees...

I have a mortgage on my brain. I will be in debt for forever :-).

yeah... i'm kinda resigned to that as well.....

all the loans and stuff you get here are through the government so you automatically pay them back.... money comes straight out of your earnings like taxes....

I think I'd like that better... then maybe it would also adjust to your income? or at least you wouldn't forget any payments and have to pay penalties.

yeah... how much you are paying back depends on your (fixed) income... and you don;t have to pay anything back if you are earning under £15,000 a year.... and then if you haven't paid it all off by the time you are 50 they write it off....

i'm sure you'll figure it out... you could always be a souless corporate lawyer for a while, pay of the student debt and then go clear your concience doing nice lawyering... lol

haha... well that was the original plan... but I can't do it. I interviewed with a bunch of the big firms... can't handle it. I would be absolutely miserable.
