did we eat something besides junk food today and fried and or battered meat does not count !
and did you get some sleep last night?
Last night was a large pizza and 10 BBQ chicken wings. Leftover pizza was breakfast and lunch, today. Slept 6 hours.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you have heart trouble do I have to teach you what that is going to do to your arteries ! now what you need to eat is whole grain bread with low fat lunch meat and healthy cheese stay away from the American crap and some heart healthy cereal even the sugary stuff is whole grain now and some lean meat for supper with a side of veggies and ya know what you can get several days worth of food at the supermarket for less than one pizza
*covers ears and hums* I'm not listening . . . pig
watch it mister I have been known to throw out my dads food if I deem it to bad for him I want you guys around a little longer and I will not have a repeat of my grandfather so that means low cholesterol and exercise he is not allowed to go food shopping on his own any more because of this

MEN why do they never listen!

Hey, I listen!!I do a lot of what you describe poly. Whole grains, not much prepaired food, not much junk food. (only on th occasional movie night) One of my fav breakfasts is a whole grain, cooked cereal. I get regular exercise, why, I'm fit as a ....*arrrgh* *THUD*
You sound like an ideal man.

LOL!! What Mary?? The diet part, or the *ARGH* *THUD* dead as a doornail part?? LOL!!

Eating whole grains, not much junk food, regular exercise, being fit. Have I answered to your Q, G-man? lol. You are actually too much. How can a man be so conscious of how to live, what to it and all? I find it unbelievable. :cyclops:

But what is with this "doornail" thing? I don't get it. What a Face
Must be a north american expression mary. Dead as a nit? Dead as, well, dead? lol
I've TRIED to stay relatively healthy. Not saying I run marathons or anything. but I keep the junk food and alchohol to a minimum.
My older brother died suddenly of heart failure of some kind at 39. They couldn't find a reason at the autopsy, no clogged arteries or anything, but I attribute it to his wild life style. booze, drugs, more booze, more drugs. Coffee by the jugfull. Smoked like a train. He burned it at both ends for sure. Funny thing was, he looked about 5 or more years younger than his age. Most of his friends were younger. One day, *THUD* and that was that.
Sort of had an effect on me, with a young family at the time, so i have tried to stay and eat as healthy and active as possible.

Pretty understandable. Usually a tragedy like you had in your family makes relatives think what they had done wrong, what they could learn from it.
