When I lived in RL, I could just walk up to the park for a great view...it only took about 5 minutes. They send them off from behind the high school my daughter goes to...

Well, they are usually free, but Harbourfront has this thing called Festival of Fire where they have fireworks over three or four different days set to music. And they are fireworks from different countries. They shoot them off over the lake so if you go and pay to get into Ontario Place (rides, games etc) you can see them from a really good spot.

Lucky you. When I lived in town, I couldn't see them, even though they were so close, cuz the stupid houses on the other side of the street were in my way...

That's nice! I have a bit of a Catch 22 (is that the correct phrase?) because half of my clients are Canadian based, and half US based.

So technically I don't get anything off.

But I did sort of bum around today, so that definately counts!

There are four different fireworks displays at the lake, but they're all from the same town. There's the big main one that we go to and then there are smaller personal ones that the people in the big fancy houses around the rest of the lake set off.

I live in New England, but we drive up there to see my first cousins as well as my second cousins who we're very close to. You want to know hell? Drive 10 hours in a car with 6 kids between the ages of 3 and 15.

Nope! That's okay though.

Right now, since I'm starting out, I'm giving myself no vacation time. (I also don't get health benefits) but once I grow my freelancing opportunities, then I will start to take some vacation, etc.
