ForensicMama wrote:In one of the reviews, the writer said that she thought that the significance of Brennan seeing the ghost shows the faith that Brennan has in BOOTH. She may not believe in ghosts, but she believes in Booth. I like that. And I bet that it's absolutely right.

I read that too, and I have to say, it gave me a much better perspective on the show. I totally believe Teddy was a hallucination on Booth's behalf, and was really annoyed when he appeared to Brennan. I like the idea that it was a way of conveying her faith in Booth.

Perhaps it's growing on me... Smile

Ummm... Girls, I've a question: when did Brennan got a new car, this big Toyota? In this episode or earlier? Didn't notice it before...

The Finger in the Nest, she was driving it. Wink Product Placement. Even Booth's SUV is a Toyota--they must be sponsoring.

In the Woman in the Sand, when she and Booth were Roxy and Tony at the wrestlng building thing, didn't she ask how anyone can wear "these" things, and she was referring to her heels??? I've always thought of that comment when I see Brennan wearing heels. Has anyone else noticed this?

The heels weren't normal heels, they were strap-back and at least six inches. I have a pair of 4 inch heels I think are super comfy, but I threw out my six inch ones b/c I could never wear them--they killed me.

I liked it. It was good to see a more "serious" episode than we have seen of late. I wished the gravedigger had been Vega or that other chick(forget her name) and not that random lady. So do any of you think Hodgins is going to have to be placed under review or something? First he worked on the Andie McPhee (sorry forgot her 'Bones' name) case without letting people know they were engaged and then he stole evidence from his gravedigger case.

Does anyone else feel this seasons cases are a little more out there and silly than they have been in the last 3 seasons? I feel like the show is becoming very B&B centred and not that I don't like that, I'm totally all for B&B but I feel the other characters don't really have storylines. I think that in the past few seasons there's just been a better balance between the cases (which we get to see more characters involved) and the B&B parts. I kinda feel like the tone of the show is changing and I'm a little worried. This show is so clever and I just don't want the show to lose that. Some of the episodes in the past season have creeped me out and now the cases don't really do that. Now I don't read the major spoilers so perhaps there are things coming up that will get the other characters a bit more of a story.

Sometimes I get that feeling, but I'm going to wait and see how the season as whole develops before denouncing anything. I love the B&Bness that we are getting, but would love to see something like the constant playfullness between say Hodgins and Zach. Obviously we can't have that anymore, and the interns of the week, entertaining as they may be, just don't cut if for me in that way. None of them are really around long enough to get a real rapport going (with the exception of perhaps Clarke or Wendall.).

The bigger vehicles are part of a deal with the auto company
to have "placement" adds...it is another way for the TV industry
to get revenue. 24 and Prison Break are two others that come
to mind having product placement...from now on if you see the
name of the cereal, watch, cell phone, etc..these are placement
adds.

Oh, and this opens up more minutes for oh say plot lines as well as other
commercials.

I think those (SUVs) are hybrids.

IRL I know Emily drives a Prius...

The great thing about film driving is that like, 80% of it is fake. Not so much fun when you have to follow the filming crew around town and/or you're stuck in traffic 'cause of the shooting. But you know, stock footage does actually help the environment. Razz

OK - I have a quick question...

I'm just re-watching HITH - have I got this right? - (this may have already been covered - in fact, I'm sure it has).

Thomas Vega elbowed the Gravedigger in the ribs - breaking them before Booth was kidnapped? Brennan says he must have been killed just after they were threatened by the judge. She spoke to Booth after that.

So, the Gravedigger, who could barely raise her arm in the last scenes was able to put Booth over her middle-aged shoulder and carry him out of the window?

Hmm... I never registered the part where she had broken ribs too.

I think Vega was killed a couple of hours after Booth had been kidnapped and so she was injured after the kidnapping. Bones and Hodgins went into the parking garage where they found him way after Booth was taken and stuffed in a Beatles toy. But I gotta say that I find it hard to believe, that that woman could have dragged Booth out of a window and into some car and into said Beatles toy. I actually find that harder to believe then the broken ribs thingy...

I've been thinking about it and I am starting to wonder whether or not this sense of wrapping up the Gravedigger case is a false one...

We don't know why Vega was killed...
How in the world could Tafett have dragged Booth through the window by herself? And not be seen? And been able to ambush him?!

And since when does HH leave the wrapping up of a big case for the middle of the season and not the end?! Who does that?! I'm beginning to wonder if the GD's accomplice is going to come back and seek some vengeance on the team. It only makes sense when there are so many questions left to be answered!

That's fair enough then, I have my time-line screwy.

Yeah, I find that hard to swallow too. There's no way I could lift my husband and he must weigh about the same as Booth.

Anyway, details, details, must stop thinking about the details Laughing, that's a scriptwriter's job. Very Happy

I prefer to think of it this way than simply that the writers didn't do their jobs properly. Very Happy

Ooh, who could be taken next time?!

You know, that would make one awesome episode - the Gravedigger going to trial, someone about to give evidence... oops, no they can't, because they're buried underground by the accomplice... ooooh.
