The Passenger in the Oven (Sides)

The sides are up for the next episode, The Passenger in the Oven.

Basically, in short, Booth and Brennan are on a flight en route to China. They find a body on board. Roxie is still in the picture. Hodgins sounds sad about it, but happy that she's happy, etc, etc. If any of that annoys you, you may not want to read any of it, but it really sounds like another excellent episode.

Actually, those are the first sides for this season that DIDN'T make me sad. So far, so good.

Thanks Mama! I agree with mereva, these are not depressing at all, so maybe there is hope- maybe we should not be jumping the gun on the "Jared" thing.

Brrrrrrrrr! Please don't mention this name! *still shuddering after reading previous sides* Aside from that , do we know if this episode will be on TV before or after the 'Jared' (brr!) one?

Hopefully they are going to show them in order, it seems that way to me anyway, starting with the Bone that Blew, then Roxy is in the next 3 so they will have to show them in order they were shot to make that storyline flow.

I think in the Jared episode they refer to Roxie as the ex-ex girlfriend, so these would be before that.

Correct me if I'm wrong on which episode is which. I'll have to go back and check the sides for Jared.

Even if Roxy is mentioned as the ex-girlfriend in the Con man epi, technically she is Angela's ex since they were college sweethearts, I can't see them two dating right away, so they would be getting to know each other again in the Con man epi and getting closer in this epi, Oven, they do seem to be very happy in this epi and Hodgins gives her advice to be happy and take a chance with Roxy, jmo

I said ex-ex.... the scene had Clark in it. And Booth and Hodgins and I think Cam. I think Brennan says to Angela, "Are you rethinking lesbianism?" and Booth catches Clark's bewildered look, and so he explains that Angela ran into an ex-girlfriend and now she is an ex-ex girlfriend...
It's almost frightening how much I remember of that... it's really quite scary.
And Hodgins really seems supportive... I think it shows more of how much he loves her than anything. He doesn't care what decisions she makes as long as she's happy.

okay.... why are they on a plane to China?

Off the top of my head (I'll go check the sides in a sec) Brennan is going to identify remains and Booth is standing guard over expensive equipment she is taking along with her.

Booth says about Brennan, "She's going to China to help the Chinese government identify some very, very old Chinese dudes." and "I must protect the proprietary American technology Dr. Brennan will be using."

Yeah, Booth being on the plane dosnt make sense to me. She has gone on digs befoore and Booth has not had to accompany her. I like the fact they are together. I am wondering about the line Booth said when he was in first class with her and they wanted him to go back to his seat. He said something like "....I thought we were..you know.." and then they said "this sounds like a longer conversation than a few minutes will take" I wonder what he meant by "you know" cause it seemed like they arent more than partners in this episode, however, that comment makes me wonder.
Anyone want to speculate?

I thought we were..you know...partners? The centre? Still stood on either side of that ruddy line I drew? Controlled by an evil puppet master called Hart Hanson who won't let us be together until Satan knits a jumper coz it's a cold day in hell?

Anyway about this actual eppy...B&B stuck on a plane ay? I suppose it's just ridiculously optimistic of me to even wonder if B&B will join the mile high club? (Uh-oh! Just realised how many fan fics this could fuel )
Is this the cheapskate eppy where they only need two locations, saving on the dollars? The Lab and a plane interior. (Too much budget blown on Yanks?)

There are new sides up. One particular conversation with Angela gets my attention.
Angela and Bren are talking. Bren says something about "We're looking for a large man, etc."
Angela says, "That's great, sweetie. What about the rest of the conversation?"
Brennan: "I'm sorry, Ange. I didn't pay attention."
Angela: "Have you ever been with someone who could honestly say they have you?"
Brennan: No. Thank Goodness. I have to go find a passenger,etc. etc.
Angela: Thanks for the talk.
But Brennan is gone.

What conversation? With Booth? Or maybe it's with his brother?

Eeeeee! I'm so excited. Angela and Bren are getting their girl talk on!

The Eli Bibrey side has the very end of the episode scene. You might want to skip that if you don't want to spoil the fluffy ending. Because it is quite sweet, but not at all fluffy like we'd wish it was, but still very sweet. I'm grinning like an idiot b/c of its sweetness.

Read the ending slide, how sweet. Gotta love Bones and how naive she is- or pretends to be.
