When Comrie played for the Sens a couple season's ago, I really thought he fit in well with the team.

Psh haha Ruutu BIT Peters of Buffalo. It's hysterical watching the reaction from Peters, but still it's dumb. I think a few years ago someone bit someone on the Devils; I don't remember details.

I guess there was enough evidence that he actually did it because he got suspended by the NHL.

One of the Swedish Players bit one of the Canadian kids during the world juniors. It was kind of funny, and well totally Swedish. Wimpy and underhanded, which is sad considering the only good players on Canucks are Swedish.

Not all players in the WJ's wear full cages. As long as they have a visor on they're okay. Some do, some don't. Personal preference I guess.

It's not televised for you guys is it? These boys are playing in the QMJHL, the WHL, the OHL, all the minor leagues, so no I don't even think they HAVE to wear visors even, maybe they do, I'm trying to remember....yes, they do have to wear visors, but full cage, no.

Well there you go, kas...Gerbe was named as a starter to the AHL all star team...quite the accomplishment.

Glad to see Hershey is well represented as well...they are playing awesome this season...too bad I no longer have season tickets...lol.

Nothing hockey related is televised around here... it's plays third, hell even fourth fiddle to baseball, football, and basketball. We get the standard games and the All-Star game and that is basically it. At least I think.

woohoo, the Canucks actually won one! 4-2 over the oilers.....Mats played 15 minutes and none of his shots hit the net, but he didn't do as bad as I thought he might.

Apparently a few friends and I are going to the Devils/Thrashers game tonight because it's college night... so now I have to go incognito because we'll be sitting with my friend's brother who is um, hardcore about the Devils...

He's still a good player, and did pretty good considering the long layoff.

I know Pimp, I actually never minded him, and hey he did throw his body around a bit. His shots were a little off, he waited too long to take them, but his timing will come back, and he did play fifteen minutes so that's pretty good!

Ha Devils lost 4-0!!!! It was great to watch them cry and whine! The Devils played like garbage though, and looked like, well they were bad and Atlanta just looked like the smarter team. And the third goal scored was a beauty...

Its a shame the top guys in the league won't admit to a terrible mistake going to a city like that.
If you put an NHL team in Hamilton, EVERY game would be a sellout. Buffalo is worried about that, but they'd still have their fan base.
poor Hamilton gets screwed over and over, every time the NHL goes to one of these hockey purgatories down south.

Yeah even with Gretzky at the helm in Phx things still aren't good.

I mean the TML haven't been performing well over the past few seasons and the ACC is still very full. Then there's the Red Wings who are dominating the NHL and don't have a full house. That's definitely one thing I notice when comparing the US and Cdn markets - no matter how crappy the Canadian team is playing, the arena is still full.

3 NHL teams in Ontario would be pretty crazy. But I do agree with you that it probably would be successful. Those that can't into the ACC would be able to go to Hamilton. Although I do wonder how the Leafs fans would react to another team invading "Leafs Nation".
