Question: We already know that Booth met someone during Bones‘ time jump. But what about Brennan? She didn’t actually go an entire year without romance, did she? —Missy
Ausiello: No, she didn’t. She went seven months without getting any. That’s technically how much time will have passed when the season starts up. In related news, Brennan is in what exec producer Stephen Nathan calls a “surprising situation” when we meet up with her on that archaeological dig in Indonesia.

Ausiello: All this talk about a Bones character getting killed off may be much ado about bupkes. “Whether or not we’re going to have an actual fatality is still under discussion,” maintains Nathan. “And if it happens, it would be later in the season.”

LOL you are definitely out of the spoiler loop... check out the thread about the sides for episode 1, it's explained in detail in there the reason they are back early.

It could be Brennan and Daisy stripping when they go into a native village , as per the sides for episode 1, or it could be the fact that Maluku turned out to be a disappointment to Brennan and she's homesick. OR it could be anything else. With HH & Co the possibilities of what constitutes a " surprising situation" are endless.

Eh, I know. They just love being vague! I was hoping for real Bones scoop, although I'm a little relieved that Brennan appears to have been single/celibate during her Booth-separation. I don't know if I could handle both her AND Booth in relationships.

Oh they are reeally good at making "nothing" sound like a "suprising situation" could be anything...at all...and most likely its the fact that she has to run away from guerillas...that has been stated over and over in every interview...so ONCE AGAAIN>>>NOTHING NEW HERE

Hart and co are so tight lipped that Ausiello and the other bloggers are getting all of their info the same way we are-from the sides. And they just spin the same story as many ways as they can to pacify the rabid fans.
For now the only concrete info we know is that everyone comes back early, Booth has a girlfriend, Brennan has regrets, and a basic outline of 4 episodes. Wake me up when new sides come out.. Sleep

The surprising situation could be...Brennan didn't sleep with anyone over in Maluka. Oh yeah, that's something else we already knew. Rolling Eyes

Actually, she told Cam she hadn't had sex in a long time in the Angela Pregnancy scare ep - and she didn't sleep with Hacker.
