Yes. But he's looking to buy a house, and I would go along for now. Then he would help me find a place for myself, something that I could afford. But just getting out of here would be the first step...I so hate it here. It's small, it's old, and the landlady is a bitch. Not to mention our illegal cat and rabbits that are in the house...lol

I think it's great that you guys get along as well as you do. A few of my friends could learn from your situation. I've lost a few of them through divorces. It's sad when they can't even get along for the sake of the kids. I just don't understand, but I'm not in their situation I suppose. Yeah, it was hard in the beginning, but we worked it out. I think it helped that we were friends before...it gave us some perspective after awhile. Once the anger and resentment was dealt with, we were able to move on. That's not to say it isn't hard sometimes...
