Well, I figured it out...they took them all away, so even though the apps are listed on my profile, I have to go back in to every single one and become a fan again, so that I can once again add it to my profile...

It may have been here on this site, or maybe somewhere else around the same time, that I learned that not all time zones are on the hour. I bet there are others out there that were not aware of this as well. In my time zone this post shows up as 10:31pm, but for Sany it's 1am.

Since then I have also found that some time zones, somewhere in the world, are even set on the quarter hour. I think this can possibly get extremely confusing, at least for the folks that live close to the demarcation line.

Hey Indy,

It was pretty cool. I thought it would be in a lecture hall, but it was in a gymnasium. It was a pretty large crowd too. She had some anthropology stuff, some more forensics, then she went through how she put things from here and there together to write her books. Then she had some on the TV show and what she does with the scripts checking the science, and then writing her first script for the show. Then she tooks questions.

It wasn't dry at all. She laced it with a good bit of humor. Everybody seemed to really enjoy it.

I was going to stay for the book signing, but by the time I got out to the line it was curved around the building. It would have taken hours, so we left. But it was an enjoyable evening!

It was pretty good until awhile ago. I should just learn to watch the news and not turn the ringer off of my phone.

Sorry, that was sort of obscure. My wife's father is stuck in a foreign country, flights are all cancelled here, and she's going to be a bit upset when she wakes up and finds out...

He's in Dubai. Nice enough, at least a lot of people speak english there. I don't have any way to get hold of him, I hope he can send an email or call again.

Dubai isn't that bad
it's safe and they speak english.....could have been worse....like France where they come at you with giant baguettes and speak this strange language all the time

I'm sure G will understand that it is too dangerous to fly right now, even if she will be upset about it

She was really looking forward to him coming. I'm going to have to play a trump card to get her to cheer up tonight.

okay I checked, not all airports are closed yet

but there are quite a lot changed routes and/or canceled flights here too
it really depends where you want to land at what time of the day
