Yeah, here too. People hear the word 'snow', and they go insane...they rush to the grocery store to stock up on bread, milk, and toilet paper...like they're not going to be able to get out to the store in a month or something. And they all drive like idiots...either too fast, or way too slow...

The Fine Arts & Literature class for Children has definately gotten my creativity flowing. She has given us 15 assignments to do in 7 weeks, a lot are time consuming, but easy. My other class is a Special Ed and the homework is minimal and fairly easy. I just hate papers and research. Better than reading and doing tests I suppose.

They do that in NH too.....I don't get it. It's not like it never snows there. I know some towns are remote, those I understand. Not the people in the big cities. Even Dec when the ice storm hit..most grocery stores were open and well stocked. It's the North East not the South West...

I am and I'm not. Not good in front of strangers early on. Hopefully I will get a good group of 2nd or 3rd graders with a good teacher. I've been doing some fieldwork in classes already, but they are mostly observing. I have to teach a lesson this semester, but that's only 45 min or so. We shall see.
I have to put my little in daycare along with his pre-k and the money is stressing me. I don't get paid, but still have to pay for him...so I think I'm more worried about that.

The worst blizzard we ever had that I remember, it snowed a foot and a half...and we were out in 3 days...and that was just me personally, since I had to shovel everything myself. And you want to know the really sad part?? It always seems like I need milk the night before they are calling for snow, and then I feel stupid cuz I don't like people to think I'm just getting it because of the snow! Of course, I get milk like every 2 days anyway, cuz my kids drink so much...lol

i remember one time i was in las vegas........and it started raining .........it was really bad..........and all of a sudden..........some peeps in some lanes......just stopped driving.........or they were going like 10 mph.........it was so weird..........i was like.....ummmmmmm its only rain peeps........lets get going..........

At least I still have another month of summer holidays!

I have had to pull off once or twice in the rain, but only because it was raining that heavily that you couldn't see to drive. But that's rare...

But I'm not actually back yet... I'll be back in less than an hour. So... be back! hehe.
