I'm just pleased that the two newest episodes were "the good old" Bones kind of stories. I worry DB will muck too many things up with more say this season.

I really don't think that DB 'mucked' anything up. It was a wonderful idea, which, judging from reviews I've read here and at other sites, really got people loving the show again. And I, for one, look forward to any other ideas he may have for this show.

i agree... i was watching season two the other day... it was so good... they had found a really good balance.... and i think last season they went a little too far with the BB element and the cases got completely neglected....

but saying that, my fav episode from season three didn;t have a case....

sometimes it is dreadful... it's like the costume people don;t seen to understand she actually has a shape rather than being a twig... (season one was awful for that)... but most of the time she looks amazing.... i'm quite jealous of the jeans as well....

well, I think they are trying to find their balance... I agree with bess, season 2 was great but since then they introduced new themes and character interactions and they need to find the balance again... plus, they're clearly going for B&B... but I'm not sure they are certain about how to do it...

These episodes in particular? No. They were good. But his entire run of making Booth more clownish and arrogant this season (Especially as the ugly American in the season premier) and the general lack of chemistry between anyone - hostility with Hodgela, no spark until the last 2 minutes of the show for BB . . .Jack mad at the world/Angela without her soul and a selfish edge? WTF?

Cam has been the shining light of the season. They have really developed her in all positive ways . . meanwhile, with DB trying to make things "edgier" he has dulled the keen edge of what made the show so fun and a happy escape for me. I don't need more angst and Fucked up relationships in my light-hearted television. I have real life for that.

Wow I stand corrected. DB fucked up the show. Sorry.

Actually, I really hadn't read anything concerning DB making decisions and writing the show's relationships. I knew he was producing, but I had no idea he was writing scripts. Nor do I agree that this season has been bad. Except for one or two episodes, I have really enjoyed this season. But then again, like I said before, apparently I have bad taste. Oh well.

i don;t know... i think this half of this season has been a bit better with regards to that... season three was too gimicky for me with regards to BB and the first few episodes of this season had absolutlely NO character development (but seeing as they didn;t now what order they ere going to be aired in i can kinda understand)...

but the last few episodes have felt kinda back on track...

and i agree with jonzey... cam is amazing this season, i really like what they are doing with her...
