Underutilized may imply filled to the brim or include options beyond the conceptual grasp of most people stuck in their paradigm. I have the advantage of filling, emptying and refilling the glass as necessary. So the optimist and pessimist are mere footnotes in my journal.

why can't the people who say the glass, at that moment, is half empty or full empty and refill at will?

Really? Poor you. Hope things are going on their way. Last week was pretty stressful for me, too. But I survived. Barely, I must say. lol
