THis is what I have to do every week.

So, I am going to blog about Wild Roses by Deb Caletti. Now, I read this book a long time ago, but I decided to post about all the books that I've read by her.

Anywho, here is the summary. Cassie Morgan, seventeen and in love, lives with her stepfather, Dino Cavalli, and mother. In the public's eye, Dino is a world-renowned violin composer/player. At home, in Cassie's eye, he is an "erratic, self-centered bully." According to Cassie his behavior is worsening: He doesn't sleep, and he becomes quite paranoid. Cassie's feelings are as follows. Before Dino's paranoia starts she is angry. After, she is more afraid than angry.

Then Ian Waters enters the picture. He is almost as good as Dino on the violin, and is Dino's first ever student. Cassie falls head-over-heels in love with him. Cassie also knows, maybe more so then others, that love brings pain. What Cassie doesn't know is how far the pain can extend.

She learns that nothing is sacred when it comes between real life and insanity.

I absolutely loved this book. Even though it's your typical love story, everyone needs to read one every now and again. While the story line is overused and can at sometimes be quite 'cheesey', Caletti is an excellent writer. I think that if she were to expand her writings to a unique and underused topic her books would be phenomenal!
I would definately reccomend this book to anyone. In fact, several people have read this book (and the other books of Caletti's) already. If you want to read a typical love story, Caletti's boooks are for you. As I said before, while the topic is overused; the writing itself makes up for it.

I know! I wrote I love you. Literally. Not kidding. I love you. ;D:D Um, he wasn't what you would call hot. Like he wasn't muscular. Or anything like that. And most people wouldn't call him hot, but we did. Sigh. I really do love him :D:D
