There's lots of really great looking films coming out over the next month or so! I am really looking forward to it, because there has been a bit of a lack of good films of late. The Christmas lull that only gets filled by blockbusters, which aren't necessarily the good films...

Yeah, but the boiler's broken in the building again so we had no heat Sad I'm just glad it was raining, otherwise I would be a literal block of ice by now. But now the rain is meant to be going away and the ice is coming back. Fingers crossed the boiler is working again tomorrow!

Laughing But an Alligator? Where the fuck did that come from. We don't have Alligators really in Melb much more likely to see a croc.

Yeah, the Bush fire season has been really tame this year, We've only had one big one so far I think, maybe 2, but remember we aren't in Feb yet so...

eeeps! that happened to me a few winters ago... I was living in an attic apartment and the furnace broke when I came back after christmas... for a few days I couldn't move from under my comforter in bed, until my landlord got the part to replace! (and the outside temperature was 10 (F) and less! not fun!)

The sympathy is appreciated!

There was one day last week I did actually wear my gloves in the lab! but I wasn't doing anything chemically really. We tried wearing gloves under our nitrile gloves, but solvents go through the nitrile and into the gloves, which is bad Sad

I should say, I didn't expect it to be that cold today. If the heat was on in the lab would be ok on a day like today. But I'm a smartypants and keep a hoody in there permanently because the college is crap, the boiler breaks alot and doesn't heat the building at all really on the very cold days. But the other three layers are regular choice for my lab in winter. It is a sucky place to be.

Oh that is not fun! At least when I come home I can have a hot shower and turn the heat up really high. It melts me back to mushy human-ness out of ice!
