I don't know North and South. You say BBC mini series to me, I immediately think Pride and Prejudice (despite the fact there's LOADS of them). I was already to start talking up Mr. Darcy

I haven't read any Austen in yaers-though I read them all when I was younger.

But I do have a rather LARGE obsession with the BBC's pride and prejudice. As in have the DVDs and had the videos before that. I love nothing more than a P&P Sunday. Can practically recite it.

I don't have the same level of obsession with any of the other books or mini series/mivies of Austen. Just Pride and Prejudice for some reason.

Then you should really watch North and South!! Mr. Thornton (the main guy) is very Darcy-esque!!

and I'm (and I know niah as well) is totally with you on P&P... I can't tell you how many times I've watched that movie... I watch it every night before I go to sleep (well, not the whole thing, obviously!) and I'll just never, ever get tired of it. I have a feeling N&S is going to be the same! you should watch the trailer I posted a bit ago... it's not the official trailer (can't find one) but it's pretty good!

I'm on my way back to find the trailer. I do like a Darcy-esque character

i LOVE the bbc p&p more than is healthy... to tyhe point that i can recite sections of it.... but it has ruined me on men for life, i now want my own colin firth esque mr darcy... sigh...
