How are you?

Just got up. Slept only...let me think...well, less then 5 hours! lol

Hate the world. Well, not really. Just very occupied. I'm trying to concentrate on my thesis. I've started again reading those multitude of articles I have in connection with it and I think I mean it now. I hate not being here, at the same time it's not difficult. Strange.

Sounds like me... I have to be up in 4 hours. I'm not to the point where I can sleep just yet.

I could do more if I wanted. We shall see. lol

It's hard when you're busy... How is the thesis going?

I have to hand in something by the end of the week so I REALLY need to focus. Very difficult since I would rather do anything but. First I'll revise what I have - not difficult since we only talk about 3 pages lol - and then to write a few more. It shouldn't be difficult, but I know what's my problem. A very good friend of mine keeps telling me I shouldn't be intimidated by the project; as soon as I start I will realise I can overcome the obstacles. I believe him. Just...dunno.

And how long does it have to be?

At the moment I'm in a sort of transition period - only reading. I still have 3 more books to skim. I do have a lot of material which is good, but I'll have more. In between teaching I'm going to the uni today to pick up more. But...I will only read stuff about I'm going to write about, first. Should be easy-piecy...some phylological background - publication details, contemporary reviews and all - of one of my novel writer I'm writing about.

I can see how that would be intimidating, however, I know you can do it. I wish you the best of luck my dear.

Things have been good... Flying out to Las Vegas in a few hours, which I am very much looking forward to.

I haven't been around as much these past few days... celebrating the new year (happy new year by the way) with some friends, traveling back to Texas, registering for my last semester, and spending time with family... but I've been chatting with Fly, Cup, Cass, and Bess quite a bit. Everyone seems to be doing pretty well.

Thanks, deb. The thing is...in my heydays at uni lol I ALWAYS recieved good mark on writing. Especially on literature. Don't know why I've been procrastinating then...Well, I only started to get material during the summer since before I had been very much occupied with my last Complex Exam in British and American Literature - which took me about 5! years to try and go for - but I have no excuse now. Yes, I can take the crown for being the world's greatest procrastinator!! lol

You'll eventually get it... I've found that some of the things that took me the longest to accomplish, I appreciated the most.

Shouldn't you go to bed? Aren't you getting tired? I know you're one...you wanna go to sleep. Your eyes are getting heavier, your fingers slowlier...the world is slowling down...

hehe... I do have to get up in 3.5 hours. I suppose I should go to bed, or rather the couch. I've missed talking to you, but real life is more important. Good luck with your thesis, I know you can do it!
