I remember about 1 year ago, I read a really good story and all of a sudden, they were both retired, around 70 and the story was over.....right in the middle of it....

in my case, it depends on the story. for Closet, for instance, i have a WIP doc in which i write ideas and a very, very raw version of what i want to happen. but for both the oneshots, for instance, and the other oneshots and another semi-multichap i have, it's been all about going where they take me
