If ABC truly hoped that by being only scripted programming on broadcast for 8:00pm-8:30p, it would help out Pushing Daisies, that plan went awry. My guess is ABC was more likely just looking to burn off an episode. Daisies scored a 4.2/7, pretty much the identical rating it had a week ago up (4.2/6). The good news is things didn’t get worse. But, unless there was a major up tick of 18-49 viewers, not getting worse won’t help any.

The PC that I use at work has been doing that for a while; and you should’ve seen the IT guy’s face when I told him that and that there were clicking noises coming from the tower. His eyes about popped out. He is fairly young and the bm’s nephew.

Typically clicking noises are a spindle - meaning a motor failing. The most likely spindle failures are fans - then hard drives or CD-ROM/DVD drives. The fans are the likely culprit - and they are either in the power supply or on the CPU. When they fail or respond intermittently - the computer overheats and has thermal protection circuitry inside that shuts down the PC if it gets too hot. But -hard drives and especially memory lose information when they get too hot and can cause such crashes.

He said something about the fan and then told me that if it does that after it was cleaned it was the hard drive; I informed him that yes it kept doing that clicking noise; and I was just told to call when I am not able to turn it back on after it says it's dumping physical memory.
I guess now we wait or to be correct I wait; and of course prepare myself to be blamed for such things; gosh knows that is just waiting to happen.

Also I think he was joking when he say me charging my ipod on it; that it was because of that it was failing; I think he was joking; I've noticed in our few conversations that his sense of humor isn't all that funny at least to me it isn't

though lately I've noticed that I kinda force myself to watch Bones...I guess this season just doesn't have the same beat...which is a shame

it's warm here too! which is CRAZY in november. it's in the 70s!!!!!! The average for this time of years is in the 50s!!

don't kill me now but the new season of Bones lacks deepness...everything is made oh so funny and seems very shallow

I mean it's November, people! At this time of the year we usually have chilly weather with lots of rain. Touch wood, but these things are nowhere in sigh. Touch wood, touch wood, touch wood...

I have high hopes for this part of the season; I think the writer's strike thru some people off their groove and that is why we have had an inconsistent season so far; some good epis some not so good. But maybe these epis coming up will show us the Bones we have grown to love.

I won't do such a thing but I am just a loyal fan, I guess. I have no time for other shows. One (or two or three) obsession(s) is (are) more than enough. lol

I agree lusikas and Turi... it hasn't been the same but I'm holding out hope that it'll get better!

Over here the nights have been lovely upper to low 60's which is an oddity in itself; I LOVE IT! I may also save some $$ on the electricity bill.
