There are worse things to be associated with than "Silly" and I have some experience with that.

Ah, but if I write my novel posts it makes it more difficult to span the posting gap as I have fallen thousands behind in the \"race.\"

Hmmm...everyone's so competitive...

There are other techniques for adding rapidly to the post numbers.

The most effective is to have actual conversations with people.

The more people at a time - the better.

That way for every post they make - you make one, too.

Well sorry, seems I am the only one here right now.

So, if for example, there are five people in the "room" posting and I talk to everyone and they don't . . .my post numbers climb five times faster by posting to each and every one after each and every message.

Well then, I suppose talking to me won't help you, since I answer every post, and I'm ahead of you.

Oh, don't apologize for that, Fly. I am always happy when you are here. You, were the very first person I ever spoke to on the ABY. That has a place of relevance.

Actually, Fly - if I were here as much as I used to be our numbers would be far closer - especially since most of your posts are from the cut and paste exercise you did to help get this forum up to speed.

That's just cuz I'm always here...

You are not an inordinately chatty ABY . . so the numbers would be a lot closer.

But let's rephrase...I wouldn't say MOST of them. I think maybe 6,000 or so...maybe a bit less...

Right - without those posts you would be in the 10,000 to 11,000 post category and there are about three people at those numbers right now. I am 4000 behind after being mostly "invisible" for 2 1/2 months.
