unfortunately I can't study FA unless I'm in Medical school...and I didn't pick the right exams to get into Medical School
I can still take archaeology though

in europe its not within the same uni department as anthropology so you don't have to learn as much about the other subfields theory and be competent here in the states we have to qualify in two subfields to finish our degrees its one reason it takes us longer

be prepared for a permanent crick in your neck all us grad students have neck pain from reading papers all bent over all the time

yeah well that Europe uni thing is stupid because I can easily study social&cultural athropology but with FA you need to go to the Medical school...buhuuuu for me...but then again I can take the second best

I am studying biological/physical anthropology which is what FA stems from but here you don't have to go to medical school but you have to take alot of the same classes both as an undergrad and as a grad student its the hardest subfield to finish your PHD in and it takes the longest

no idea cass things are diffrent here we all take the same exam and our scores determine if we get into the school we want and the major we want then we change schools for our masters and sometimes change again for our PHD
