I got it cut just below my shoulders and the full bangs and I dyed it black. I really like it.

that sounds lovely. I had bangs cut on my hair a few months ago. But my darn strands (because really you can't call what I have hair that would be just too nice) are too frizzy to have bangs anymore.
Were you a brunnette before you dyed it black?

yeah, i think i were blonde going black would have been to much of a shock.

Plus you'd have that annoying skunk stripe before long!!

oh yes some girl did that my senior year and her hair looked terrible.

My daughter did it, the dummy!! She had really really blond hair, then decided to die it jet black! I told her in a week she'd look like a skunk with a light streak down the middle, but she didn't listen. big surprise!! I was right of course, and She spent a fortune getting her hair back to its natural color.

luckly my hair was already dark brown. so my hair will have lighted up enough by the time it grows that noone will notice.

That's a much better situation, not so much contrast. I bet it does look nice now though.

Worst of all she is only 8; not a good age to make her watch that show!!!

I once had red highlights done to my hair. They looked nice. But they stopped making the color I used so now I have to hunt down a new one.
Don't have the energy for it or the budget so i will just stay dark brunnette until gosh knows when.
I WAS told that dying my hair a darker shade might help get my shiny hair back.

poor Turi, I hope that she picks her up in time. If it makes you feel better when I was in school the teachers got to go home at 8:00 and none of the parents stayed that late.

I just dyed mine on friday and all day saturday everyone was telling my hair looked so shiny.

also i heard that putting olive oil in hair gets the friz out. I saw it on the tyra banks show.

Those are good tips!!! the Olive Oil one kind of expensive though!! I shall keep that in mind. THANKS!!
