Yay Canada! It's 18 here too, but it sucked being stuck in the US all summer without being able to drink any alcohol (legally). Twas very sad.

See, I like being able to drink and to drive, but am sensible enough not to do them at the same time. It just seems like there's nothing to do for teenagers in America; whereas 18-21 yos here can go to the pub for a quiet drink, it's not part of the culture there at all. Perplexing...

oh I do too I wish they'd make it higher here but they don't...sigh...if it's done responsibly...? I can see it being that...but for the majority who AREN'T...? I think it should be higher too...

Well bertie, there are loads of things to do that don't involve drinking...trust me, I drink very rarely, and I never drank before I was 21, and I had no trouble finding things to do. But everyone has their own opinion, and that's fine, no one is right or wrong.

and i agree with you.......there are soooooooooooooooooooooo many things to do other than drinking..........ya know........i myself dont drink...........but find nothing at all wrong with it.......as long as its done responsibly.................

hell...first time I drank in front of my Dad...? I was 34 he was a recovering alcoholic so I NEVER drank near him...STILL felt like I was 17...lol
