I Hart Booth Fan Club

Well, it was superb. You might have heard of the event, it was called World Choir Games. There were over 400 choirs from about 90 countries all around the word. We participated in two categories, chamber choir and folklore.

We came home with two medals!! In the category of chamber choirs we got a silver medal (only missed gold with two points!!) and in folklore we won GOLD!!! In both categories there were over 40 choirs so the competition was huge. But we managed. We only missed being champions in folklore with 2 points. Life is tough. But we are pleased. I have good memories of the whole event.

And Graz was beautiful as always. When we had some free time - on Friday after performing - we went to the centre, walked up Schlossberg and enjoyed the view of the city. Was very relaxing after doing our deed.

It's a pity we couldn't meet though.

Thank you on behalf of my choir. We did our best we could do at the time. And Graz is fortunate to have a river across. Does good to its image.

Yeah, we even stepped on it. I also have some pictures taken. On Friday early morning (9.30 am) we sang at Minoritensaal, and at 11 at the university. Both places were wonderful, and most importantly, have great acoustics.

I agree, the acoustics are important. what use is the prettiest place when it sounds horrible?

Glad you liked it!!! and the island is just funny, I think it was an awesome idea to build it into the river.
