oooh, yes, that's a good point razz. i do that especially if i've been holed up in my apartment wearing old t shirts and shorts with elastic waist bands for weeks on end. its nice to put on 'real' clothes and look nice.

Although I had a very fun experience one time. Four of my female buddies decided they were going to "act like guys" over the entire memorial day weekend. They ate whatever and whenever they felt like it and sat around watching TV and wearing raggy clothes or sweats and didn't even shower every day. No one shaved anything. They called me up the third afternoon and invited me over. They were a total mess - they sat with their hands in the front of their pants and belched and passed gas. It was horrific and hysterical all at the same time. No make-up, pimples, greasy hair. Outstanding.

...and a walk off win too! oh man... i gotta watch that replay again.

It's a point well taken. But most guys don't even need "closure" all they need is some protruding squishiness in the chest and they go blind and forget where they are. I've never understood it but I am definitely in the minority.

wow. I'd crack. from the lack of shower, if nothing else. I could do the eating, and the raggy clothes, and I rarely wear make-up anyways, but not showering? I'd crack by the end of the first day... I can't get in bed without a shower first ;-) just doesn't feel right...

yeah, me too razz. i can't handle greasy hair - with guys, its easier to ignore because they have short hair. when your hair is long? ewwwww

I wasn't complaining. The girl I had been chasing for 6 months asked me out after they got cleaned up. I guess it was some sort of bizarre test to see if I would run away after seeing her like that.

my best friend's mom... when she was first dating her later-husband (and father of my friend) tested him, too... They were both jewish, but she wanted to make sure that he was reform jewish, and not just pretending, so one night very early in their relationship she invited him over to dinner and presented him with a plate of ham, to make sure he ate it! They've now been married for almost 40 years ;-)

Never heard this twist before! The Jewish marriage scene is getting crazy (or crazier) in the ultra religious circles.
