Actually it depends on the state...here in PA, you can't buy it in the grocery store.

ahh, k...our depanneurs (corner stores) sell the wine...beer...but like I said...harder alcohol is at an alcophol store..,.

home...? Newfoundland...while I was growing up...was ALL NLC (Newfoundland Liquor Corp) stores...not sure now though...outta there almost a decade

as i live so close to the coast we just pop over to france to get our alcohol if its for a party or christmas..

in ct you can get beer only at grocery stores and they only sell it until 8 and on sundays you cant buy it anywhere

oh that's right, fly. illinois, there are pretty much no laws about it. aside from being 21 ;-). indiana, you can sell alcohol (but I think just beer and wine) in grocery stores, but no alcohol is sold after... some time, don't remember. and not on sundays.

6 hours?...i think there was something wrong with the boat..it normally takes 2..but we take the car and go on the train..about 20 minutes!

although you can buy fireworks in indiana, but you can't here :-(

tobacco and alcohol are cheaper..i think because our tax is so high!

shops are not open on a sunday?...thats when i do my shopping..they are open from 10-4..the rest of the week most supermarkets are 24 hour!!!..

they only carry beer so no one really buys it at the grocery store...and its only at some grocery stores

no, stores are open... just in some states you can't buy alcohol.

i think we can buy alcohol 24 hour too now..a new law was passed for 24 hour drinking..so clubs and bars are legally allowed to stay open for as long as they like!

it's cheaper, anyways, to buy it at the big liquor stores... not the small ones, but the big ones.

No, stores are open, but liquor stores are closed on Sundays.

Sundays here...? 1000-1700 for most places...same on Saturday...most during the week are till 2100...

we can buy alcohol here (in my state) any time, as long as there is a store open ;-) 24 hour grocery stores come in quite handy...

our stores close at 9 exactly...they actually have this computer thing that shuts off the register at 9 so even if the store wanted to stay open it cant
