its ok I am the worst geek I was practicly raised on star trek and the sci fi channel I know all the star trek captions I own all the movies and all versions of star wars we have the old dr who on VHS and etc...

Yup, we've got Whole Foods. And I have seen gluten free mixes before. I bet she just substitutes soy or rice milk.

I never liked sci-fi much until my hubby got me into Battlestar. And I haven't even seen the first season and a half of it! I need to rent the dvds.

no idea and I have been looking its so messed up still with the strike they are only gonna show 8 Eureka episodes in a row then save the rest for later too

yeah, I think she substitutes rice milk? maybe? not sure. she's doing a thing where they're trying to figure out what she's allergic to so she can pretty much only eat rice and vegetables :-)

They wanted to do that with me back when I was a teenager and I of course refused. Now I'm paying the price.

and poly... by all the versions of star wars do you mean the digitalized versions or the 3 new movies?

I didn't even see the first Star Wars until I was like 15 or 16. That was 10 years ago. I do like them, tho.

cause I really did not like the 3 new movies. the 3rd was pretty decent... but the first 2... ugh.

wow! although I can't say I'm that shocked... I've met far too many people who still haven't seen them. For me, I was lucky b/c my dad and uncle were into all the sci fi stuff when it was originally airing, so I don't even remember a time when I didn't know them. For star wars, my siblings and I used to take entire days and watch all 3 movies back to back... and by the end we were so hyper from sitting still and eating junk that we'd go crazy w/ the Ewok dance!

I have both sets of 4-6 without the new faces and with without is better though

yea I grew up with it all around my dad is a big geek too he even has his own wookie costume he wears every halloween to hand out candy

yeah... without the extra scenes and digital effects is much better. unfortunately I bought the dvds as soon as they were released, which were the digitalized versions... and I can't really afford to buy two sets of star wars movies just yet ;-). My dad still has the originals on VHS though so if I really want to I could watch them if I visited him.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh all the things the tv stations have done to us in the last year ......

I actually saw the separate Ewok movies on Disney BEFORE I even knew about Star Wars. I had no idea they were spinoffs.
