Her telling Hannah to be sure about the relationship makes me wonder if she's realized already how big her mistake in letting him go was.

And then the end. I love that they've stuck with BB ends, BTW. That hallway scene was just heartbreaking. The look on his face? You know he knows why she did it (telling Hannah about the phone) and it's just so sad.

Oh, and this: if they can show B/H in bed in two episodes back to back then once BB finally start going at it, they'd better do the same. It's really only fair.

I agree. I think it hit her how badly she hurt him.

I liked the episode as a whole funny but not too outlandish. I think we keep seeing Booth in bed with Hannah because that is the basis of their relationship really. They don't seem to know each other very well. I think Hannah definitely caught a whiff of something when Brennan told her about the phone.

I think the look on Booth's face was priceless when he realized the phone idea was Brennan's, perfect gift from the wrong girl. He looked so uncomfortable. Running after her was so sad and bitter sweet. That's the moment I wonder if it hit him that she is hurting. We'll see.

Sweets knows that Booth should not be jumping into this relationship with Hannah, but Booth shuts him down at every turn-- because he knows it's true but doesnt want to hear it!!!

I was thinking the same thing about Brennan realizing her mistake, but y'know, it is just as possible that Brennan still hasn't realized - she's just cautioning Hannah - after all, that's why she didn't take Booth up on his proposal: she was certain that she'd only hurt him.

Poor Booth, he tried so hard the last time he wanted to spend his life with a woman. Someone should perhaps tell Hannah that at the first sign of resistance, he will move on.

I'm a little late to this discussion but I just want to say that everytime I see Hannah/Booth moments, I want to gouge my eyes out. Honestly, I don't understand how we're supposed to like her. She is Booth's girlfriend. *eh, it makes me shudder even typing that. Personally, everytime I see Booth and her together, I cover my eyes and mutter evil over and over again. *EDIT: I don't hate Hannah, I hate the fact that Hannah is Booth's girlfriend.

But other than that I loved Emily's acting tonight. I found it very humorous. (haha, get it? Humerous, humorous?) And the "throwing the crab", loved it.

"Eureka! A gathering of Guidos!" made me spit out my drink. The episode was pretty silly. The case was 'eh.' But, Emily Deschanel was hilarious. Hands down she wins the prize for best acting not only for attempting to be get into that jersey world, but also, for that end scene. That scene was just so upsetting. It was good though. Finally, we see Booth looking at her like he used to. I personally, think he is realizing things are changing. Him and bones aren't sharing their end of the case stuff together because he is with Hannah and I think that is hitting him and he's not sure what to make of it.

He really seemed like he understood the phone gift. As someone said above....it was the perfect gift....but from the wrong woman. It would have been much more meaningful coming from brennan because she understood the meaning behind it.

It could have just been me, but I deff think Hannah caught a whiff of just HOW close booth and brennan are in the office seemed. She seemed slightly (very slightly she hid it well) put off by the fact that bones knew so much. I'm not saying jealous type stuff....more like.....she's realizing that booth and brennan may be more than just partners.

This isn't a spoiler. Just my opinion. But, I'm predicted hannah will realize Booth and Brennan should be together.

I don't hate Hannah. We have no reason to hate her (except for that she's dating Booth) I actually kinda like her There I said it...but I think we are definitely getting Booth/Hannah sexy-time overload With the back to back sexy scenes..and the fig tree thing (...and even though we don't see anything, it still make me feel...icky) I just hope that when B&B get together, they give the same amount of sex scenes as Booth/Hannah.

You know, I got a lot of grief over at the Boneyard for being critical of how Brennan treated Booth. It was a major showdown. Ask bug. But never once did I ever resort to calling Brennan names like you and some others have done to Booth on this thread. Chill. It is a TV show.

FWIW, I did not care for the very first part of the opening scene. It seemed unnecessary even though it was only an insinuation of what had just happened. Hope they all had fun making it. I don't like to watch sports either.

We will all just have to agree with no name calling on either party. Opinions are great though, and it's good we all see each character a little differently. No one interprets art the same way as another. That's the beauty of it.

Booth didn't seem to be acting as indifferent towards brennan in this episode. the last scene was just so emotional and raw. Too many more of those and I'll be hitting the bottle on Thursday nights instead of Friday j/k of course.


P.S.....this reminds me of brennan's "yo, was up?"

She is doing all the work, he's just along for the ride - and folks, take that any way you want. As for a lovesick puppy - no, I wouldn't respect that. However, I don't respect him now, either. He's just taking whatever bus comes along because he doesn't want to drive. Has a custom Lamborghini sitting in the garage, but the steering's "too sensitive, and the dashboard's "too complicated". Well, while he's out on the bus I hope some hot guy comes and steals his car, someone who knows its worth and likes to drive.

OK- just finished watching (it's been a crazy night)... and first impressions.... LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this episode! So fun, lots of laughs, lots of intense moments, awesome! Brennan and Hannah's conversation at the lab- very telling. Sweets- I LOVE HIM! He is so on to Booth and it seems the writers are back to using him a little in his original capacity as the B&B 'feelings meter' /safe reveal guy for the audience. That ending- perfect perfect perfect.

You know what's funny about the sex scene for me this time around? I'm actually GLAD they put it in. Am I crazy? Have I lost it? Nope! Does it seem like they are shoving the Booth and Hannah sex in the audience's face? Well, by all means I think they are, and I think it's great. The first thought it leaves me with is that it is just confirming for the audience that Booth and Hannah are all about THE MOMENT, sex, fun, etc. Their relationship is "Booth lite". No question. Yes it sucks to 'watch' the Booth character with a SO. But lets face it, we all "know" he and Hannah have sex (it'd be a little strange if they didn't). So I think all the overkill with the sex is pretty obviously showing "where Booth is at" right now. The total awkward 'moment' at the end when he looks at Brennan (for quite a long moment) says it all to me. Yay to this episode.

I didn't watch this episode, but I'm curious about the significance of the phone. Why did Bones think it would be a good gift?

I agree. *This isn't a spoiler, it's just my predicition* I think the break up will be mutual. I think Hannah is going to realize what kind of relationship B&B have. She's very intuitive...and good at reading people. She's a kick ass, independent woman. Clingy? Nope. Jealous? Maybe...because I kind of got that feeling from last week's episode with the way she kept bringing up Brennan...but not so much anymore. I think once she realizes that she's losing this battle, she'll leave gracefully.

I still haven't seen this episode or B&B scene at the end...so my predicition is based on nothing more than my gut. ...I think Booth is already starting to realize that he still has feelings for Brennan with the "It's still love," scene. I think it's his little roundaboutway of saying that he still loves her...and from what I heard about the B&B scene in this episode, I think I might be correct...but I stll need to see it for myself.

Hmm, nice try but it's more like this: There was a custom Lamborghini sitting in the parking lot that was free for the taking if anyone could get it started. Plenty of men managed to slip their key in the ignition but Booth couldn't ever get the damn thing to turn over no matter how patient he was or how much TLC he gave it. Finally after five years of taking the bus he decides to get a new mustang. Now the Lamborghini is coughing and sputtering everytime he walks by, acting for all the world like it wants to turn over, but his ride still has that new car smell. Why should he give the Lamborghini a second look again?

Oh, and no way in hell Hannah's a bus kiddo, that's a sweet ride if ever I saw one, and I bet she handles the turns like she's on rails.

I don't think Booth 'knows' he still loves Bones (in THAT way) yet (I mean consciously). Obviously it's buried down in there... when you see the look tonight b/n B&B it didn't read 'Booth realizes he's still irrevocably in love with Bones" to me, more of a 'Hey, something's off here'. Kinda of a moment that passed b/n them that he started to allow something to "rise to the top". But I'm sure he'll supress it for a while longer yet. (After all, Hannah's here for a bit still.) Just my take though.

Really? That seemed perfectly in line with Booth's personality. Look at his fridge - 50's retro. His taste in clothes, 50's and 60's ties, his preference for 50's style shirts as casual wear, his love of suspenders, spats, and fedoras (think Vegas baby). Booth is very much in tune with the 50's and the feel of the 50's - probably Hank's influence to some degree but I'd bet some of it is the character of the times.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense. That it does. I'm just saying that with the ease that it came to mind, I'd have liked to have had Booth spend 1/2 minute sometime last season just saying something about looking for one. Then it would be something coming full circle, and that would have been satisfying.
