THAT'S WHY IT SOUNDED FAMILIAR! Star wars... of course. Haha!! It really sounds amazing. I think I would like to go someday... I was in Turkey in March, and visited some ruins. They were Greek, and there was a Crusador Castle that I was able to visit, it was beautiful. I hope to take my wife there someday. Perhaps a tour through history... sound great... is it safe there? In Tunisia... if they rely on tourism I would expect so, but what is your opinion?

I would say yes, very safe. It's definitely a different country though... and they don't speak a lot of english. My husband had enough high-school french to get us by. So, due to culture shock, at first we were nervous and scared in some places, but I think it was just due to the fact that we were completely out of our comfort zone. Like I said, the people are very friendly, and very helpful. We did get ripped off by a couple taxi drivers, and of course in some of the more touristy areas there are hustlers (trying to sell stuff and what not), but, yes, I think it's pretty safe. There isn't much of a night life, so things do get quiet (and the streets empty) at night.
