I totally get that. It's hard enough for me to follow sometimes and I speak English as a primary language, I can only imagine the difficulty in picking up the vagaries of various idiomatic forms when you're a non-native speaker.

but the smilies help.....most of the time if there is a second meaning there is also a smiley (smiley-smilies looks wrong to me, but everything else is marked as being wrong...)

it was my mom's birthday last saturday, today her best friend and her husband are here for some coffee and cake or in our case coffee and muffins
and of course I had to make those muffins this morning
I burned 3 fingers so bad that they actually blister and another one is bright red
(and I make muffins since I turned 12 or something and I know what I'm doing on a normal day......)
