Yup. I noticed it, too, and was like...WHAT? What snake? It surely is a mistake: she's so afraid of snakes.

Maybe it was dead and stuffed...

These writers need to watch their own show more!

I mean some people love dogs......walk through a park, someone's dog bites them and they are afraid for the rest of their lifes.

It is not unlikely that they messed up once again, but the epi hasn't even aired yet. So they might have changed it later on, or they explain why she liked snakes back then......

Okay, I suggested this over on the BY and want to know what you think. Also, just so you know, I don’t agree with (or believe, for that matter) what I’m about to suggest, I’m just throwing it out there.

Anyhoo, I was thinking about them being “husband and wife” and the comments DB made last week that made a lot of people (myself included) very upset, and this wouldn’t go away. What if they really did get married and his comments were just a cover-up? I know I know, it’s way far out there, and like I said I don’t believe it, but it’s a thought.

Btw, sorry if this was already mentioned...I haven't read all the comments.

Honestly what DB said wasn't that bad, he was stating his opinion based on a question that was asked of him by a reporter ( I find it suspicious that nobody has posted what the direct question asked of him was) So it's possible it was taken way out of context, and even if it wasn't, all he said was that he wasn't interested in playing a husband on the show, doesn't mean he won't be..... But do I think it's Booth and Brennan who get married this season, No absolutely not, I don't think there is any possible chance of that happening. ( if it does I will be completely shocked)

Like I said, I don't think they will either, but it was a thought. Actually, if they do, I will not only be shocked, but a little upset!

Okay, so after reading the side to this episode, I'm a little more at ease with the way the 100th is going to go. I mean, if Brennan and Booth were fighting or hate each other, would they be pretending to be husband and wife? this could mean good things.... VERY good things Twisted Evil

As long as they DIDN'T get married (for whatever reason) in a prequel and told Sweets about it in the 100th ep... Brrrrr! Just the thought alone makes me cringe.
For me, they can get married now in every single episode (is it ever possible? Very Happy

). But not in a prequel. That would be bad!

If they got married in the prequel, then they got a divorce just as quick, since Booth was sleeping with Tessa, Rebecca, and Cam in the 1st 2 seasons, and Brennan with David, Sully, and the deep-sea whatever he was along the way. Booth wouldn't do that if he was married, and I truly doubt Brennan would do something like that herself, even given her opinions on monogamy and marriage.

Agreed. Neither Booth nor Brennan are cheaters. And it's interesting that while we might consider her dating the botanist (Jason) cheating on the deap sea welder (Mark), it's not obvious to her that that would be the case. She had an intellectual relationship with Jason, and a physical one with Mark, and in Brennan's view of things I think as long as she wasn't actually having sex with Jason, she wasn't cheating on Mark.

I don't think that she's had a miscarriage...more that she only suspects she's pregnant? Freaks out, gets scared...but does not tell Wendell. Not that I've given it much thought!...I came up with this idea whilst washing the dishes tonight...Yes peeps...This is the crazy stuff that creeps into my brain whilst doing mundane tasks!...I need help...Yes. I know! )

After reading sides and everyone's opinion on what is going to happen in this episode, I think I came up with a pretty good theme.

Preconception is when we already have an opinion about something or someone before we actually get to know them or the truth.

High School Reunions are really filled with alot of preconception. We picture the high jock superstar to be a professional player somewhere, the nerds are off doing sciencey stuff and the homecoming queen as having a happy family and tons of kids.

Add in that fact that Booth probably has a preconception of one Mr. Andy Fluger after Brennan shared the BrainySmurf story with him.

I think another thing is people reflecting their own faults onto others as a preconception. In this episode we are seeing married couples hitting on B&B even though they are in a pretend marriage. Since they all cheat in their own relationship, it is preconcieved that B&B do the same thing.

I think a couple things will come out of this but the biggest is that Brennan will reveal that she thinks of the janitor as her grandfather who rescued her from foster care. Booth thinks he's creepy but how is he going to feel when Brennan reveals this to him?

Don't think there'll be a new link. Mama tweeted this afternoon that SpoilerTV was hit with a cease and desist like she was, so there'll be no more sides from them either. Seems FOX (or HH & Company) are intent on screwing us over when it comes to spoilers. Damn them and their legal rights!
