Ok so I haven't read them yet, but you have no idea how excited I am about these sides, I'm going straight from posting to reading and obsessing LOL

Here lie the sides from the highschool reunion epi!!!

Random thoughts while reading......

- Booth is playing her husband, not surprising at all, but still totally worth a squeal!!
- Is it wrong I'm happy that things are going wrong for Wendell and Angela? I liked them in tTitTC but really did not like them in tXitF
- This is another totally gross beginning to an epi, maggots spraying out of the skull as it hits a person, just my mental image of that is absolutely disturbing, I'd need therapy for life if it was me LOL
- I find it amusing that anyone and everyone is hitting on Brennan and Booth ( are you sure it's working out? ) They are apparently quite the hot couple Razz

-Also Booth genuinely hates Andy pfeluger, he's kinda hostile with him. which is probably because he's supposed to think they're married and he's still hitting on Bones, but I like to think it's cause he knows the smurf story.

Yeah, I'm loving that - personally I think it's more than a little wishful thinking on his part but any chance he gets to play house with Brennan he's gonna take, and that's a positive step forward.

Personally I'm not the biggest fan of Wangela, but I'm at the point where I dislike the idea of Hodgela even more. Hodgins is a good man who deserves a hell of a lot better than the load of shit he's gotten from his neurotic comittment-phobic ex who goes around pretending she's the normal one when honestly? She sleeps with men/women looking for the love and attachment she never got as a child because her father wasn't in her life then, and since she can't go back in time to get that love from Billy, she's always going to be going from one man or woman to the next until she figures it out. Jack doesn't need that, and honestly neither does Wendell.

Nah, no way is that as bad as the skin slippage body...or Santa's burning eyeball, that still bothers me.

C'mon? If Booth was at my HS reunion he'd totally get the babes, and Brennan? Well, I'd just kill anyone that looked at her - mine all mine!

I think he's predisposed to hating Fleuger because of the Brainy Smurf story, but its cemented by his hitting on Brennan. Fleuger is the kind of guy Booth was in HS, and seeing him again only reminds him of what an ass he was, and has to make him think of how he's hurt Brennan in the past.

Anyone catch an echo of Maggie Cinders from the Headless Witch epi with the Butcher business? And I note thus far that Brennan hasn't exactly shot it down like she did then...

Morticia? Sounds like their school/class had a thing for the Adams Family. Well, beats hell out of mine for the Brady Bunch. Rolling Eyes

I don't know if I would have wanted to know Brennan back then, either. I can just see Booth giving her the eye now for some of these little tidbits. But it does fit in with other things brought up, like how she used to play dead and freak Russ.
And that creepiness apparently outweighs being a foster kid. So much for fanfic.

I did catch that, when they started talking about the Burtonsville Butcher, in fact that entire opening scene was hillarious.

Wow, so mine was the cool school? We had a thing for the A-Team...man we were dorks. And yes, smart asses, were is the operative verb tense there. Punk kids these days. No respect, I tell ya'...

Yeah, I actually hate to say this but I'd have probably been among the few in the Brennan fan club back then - there was a small, hardcore group of us that were devotees of Poe, Plath, and Lovecraft - something tells me Morticia would have fit right in...and no, I was not a GOTH! I was a jock, an educated jock but still a four letter jock in fact. I just happened to be a fan of really dark, depressing, horrific literature.

Oh, and I loved this bit from the sides:

Yeah, we dissected frogs, rats, fetal pigs, and feral cats (obtained from a local shelter) - first rate science program. Though they did take a dim view to the time we skinned a rat and cat and posed them in the trophy case as RatMan and Mr Whiskers. I think it was the part where we used their skins as capes and pinned little masks to their faces that really pushed the dean over the edge.

You know, now that I think about it you can almost see a neo-goth Brennan hearing about the murder and going out there to play the part of Nancy Drew...if Nancy Drew was dressed by Wednesday Addams that is. I think she looked something like this:

An introvert wasn't "normal"? Wow, at our school the quiet kids were a big enough subset that it was the loud jocks like me who were in the minority. Then again private Catholic school so the atmosphere was different from public school. Still, we got on fine with the quiet types usually - in fact in Catholic school quiet doesn't always mean 'well behaved', in fact it frequently means 'planning something'. Hey, maybe your guidance counselor was meant for my school?

Oh, and I was a nice...nah, who'm I kidding. I was the poster child for "Who your parents warned you about". I had a fake ID, I drank, I smoked, I cut class, we had house parties when peoples' folks were out of town. I once went to a party at a friend's house, didn't tell my folks the friend was in college and the house was his frat house in Chamaign (Illinois - over three hours away). So yeah, you wouldn't have given me a second look.

Yep, that pic is actually from the classic "Night of the Dead", but you're right - darken the hair a bit and she does look like a young Tempe. And what kind of parents, foster or otherwise, let a kid have a mouse, a snake and a spider as pets? Seriously, Teen Tempe was more than a little on the morbid side.

And the men are hitting on Brennan. But her gorgeous (and a bit jealous!) husband (he-he) is there to shove them off. Very Happy

And... Is it totally wrong if I actually like that Angela and Wendell are not together anymore?

I was really wondering what Angela was talking about in that scene, and this theory would explain some holes in current speculation ( It just doesn't work for me that it would be Michelle that would be pregnant, given that A) said she wasn't ready to have sex and B) the press release for this week's epi says that Cam worries that Michelle may be keeping a big secret from her, I think that those choice of words is important, It could have just as easily been written as " Cam finds out Michelle is keeping a big secret" ) If this is what Angela is referring to it sounds like she may have had a miscarriage......

Maybe this is a case of everyone getting their wires crossed? Cam thinks that it's Michelle when actually it's Angela.
I don't think that she's had a miscarriage...more that she only suspects she's pregnant? Freaks out, gets scared...but does not tell Wendell. Later on after all the drama she discovers that it was a false alarm. (But...you know...could be? Not that I've given it much thought!...I came up with this idea whilst washing the dishes tonight...Yes peeps...This is the crazy stuff that creeps into my brain whilst doing mundane tasks!...I need help...Yes. I know! Very Happy

And, wait, a snake? It really said that? Now I gotta go back and look. Why would she have a pet snake? Considering 15-20 years later she's deathly afraid of them. *alert! alert!* Continuity breakdown! ("Cap'n, I dinna know how many times we'll be able tae patch 'er!")

Yeah it says snake, One on one she seems to do ok with snakes ( Man in the Morgue). I think it was just that there was a room full of them during Mummy in the Maze that made her freak out (This is how I feel about birds, one of them and I'm fine, they start amassing and I'm gone LOL). Or it's just poor writing and I'm grasping at straws Suspect
