Did Hoddgins say something to make you scare the other peeps at home that think laughing at the TV is ‘weird’ ? did Booth say something that made you go all mushy and fluffy on the inside? Did Brennan mention something that tickled your funny bone? this is the place to let us know. Post your fave quotes from the epi.

"Sometimes you gotta settle for second best" ( as said by Booth) I don't know why I loved that comment so much, I think it's because it just reinforces that he really wants to be something more to Brennan.

That's funny - I mean I took it to mean the same thing basically, that Booth wanted more from Brennan but he accepted Sweets theory that he didn't really love her so he was going to settle for second best to keep from hurting her. YET at the same time that line when juxtaposed with Harmonia's comment that it all worked our eventually was like HH flippin' the bird to his critics.

I hadn't really thought about it that way, but now that you point it out, I can see how that comment could be taken as HH "flippin' the bird to his critics" LOL .

I totally said "King of the Lab" in unison with Hodgins when he said it. My dad was in the room at the time, and he probably thought I was crazy... but I just KNEW he would say it during the premiere episode, so I was waiting for it. XD
Also, I loved the multiple "heart of a lion" references to Booth. That pretty much sums it up. =]

i liked when Sweet's asked Booth if he knew what he was looking at [his brain scan] & Booth said he was sure Sweets has not been around one before and then Sweet's told him what it was and he retracted his statement. I got a good laugh out of that one.

See, and I thought it was laugh outloud funny. Brennan isn't making fun of folks with average intelligence nor is she being intentionally insulting, she's just attempting to illustrate how the medication makes her feel foggy and slow which, given her high IQ, is how she imagines the person with an average IQ must feel all the time in comparisson.

Just like when she was telling Booth he is not stupid and Angela, Sweets and Jack, and Nigel Murray walk into the bar. She gives them all a compliment on their intelligence except Angela. Her comment "Angela *pause* "Not so much".
I guess I need a sense of humour because I don't find those comments funny at all.

Oh that night in the bar, with all the things that stumbled out of her mouth, I thought they were hilarious. It's their way of showing that she isn't wired the same as everyone else and she has a hard time with that "filter". But I did love what she said to Booth finally. That was truly an awwww moment for me.

Now, I admit, that if Angela had a self-esteem issue then I would have gasped or something, but she knows Brennan full well and totally understands what she's saying, and what she's not saying too.

At the same time, I don't recall that "Dr. Burn in Hell" bothered me in the least either. I laughed at that too.
