i've heard of the band, they are kind of similar to Panic at the disco, and fall out boy. Congrats on their engagement, now all we need to see is EMily getting married! I think it would be weird if my little sister got engaged before me

It is a weird feeling for your younger sister to get engaged before you. Mine was engaged about 5 years ago, even though she called it off about a month later, and it made me feel like I was going to die an old spinster, lol.

I also just read that Ben is going to move into Zooey's place. If I was Emily, I'd be getting my broom ready to smack the ceiling when it starts getting too loud up there, lol.

HAHA! WEll she can certainly bring David over. They could compete to see who's the loudest!!

Congrats to Zooey! She was on ET or ETC last night. They were talking to celebrities about their New Year resolutions and she said hers was not not be late anymore.

was everyone's New Year? Did you all have a great one, I sure did; we
rang it in pretty well. I am so happy too see what 2009 will bring me
as well as everyone in my life. Speaking about what will 2009 bring me,
my sister Zooey is getting married. Yes I know a lot of you have
already heard about her engagement but I wanted to actually blog about
. She is happy and so are we all, Ben & my sister are very excited
to be engaged and I wish them the best.

Whoa, wait...she actually has a MySpace page now? Because the old one that was posted was a fake. I haven't been on MySpace in a year, I got rid of my page, but are you SURE this is actually her page? There are a lot of grammatical and punctuational errors in there and I don't really see Emily making them...she's smarter than that. Any thoughts?

I noticed the grammatical errors, but it's not like she's a teacher, so I didn't think anything of it. It seems to be updated all the time by a woman named Endrea.
How do you know the last one was a fake and what was the URL to the fake one so I can double check?

After I wrote my last message, I checked out the MySpace page. I don't have an account, so I can't actually look at the contents of the page. I don't have the URL of the last one, but I know it was a fake because the manager of her official fansite (not on MySpace) posted a warning. I spoke with him and he was the one who told me it wasn't real. But the link you provided doesn't look like the old one. Of course, I'm not a member anymore, so I don't know for sure.

are we talking about Emily having a myspace? I didn't think she did. However, theres a facebook, thats in question. She has people who have actually met her, like author Karen Dawn added as a friend, and Karen's posted pics of Emily from her events on there as well as video, however all the pics (aside from the tagged photos) are pics you can find online, no personal ones. Anyone know if it's real or fake?

to me the "emilyxx_awesome" seems a little sketchy. But that could just be me.

About the myspace site: It's fake. First off, most of the stuff on there you can find online. as far as pictures and info goes, second: I am pretty positive Emily's musical taste goes far past "crazy for this girl" which is a song i liked when i was 13. Plus, I remember reading in an interview that she liked all this weird music. NOTHING like Evan and Jaron. Third, under "Who i'd like to meet" she wrote I'd like to meet all of Emily's fans. Not all of my fans.

I have searched on Facebook, but have never found her. As for MySpace and especially that particular blog post, I just don't think it is she. Seriously (and I know I already said this) there are WAY too many grammatical and punctuation errors. Emily is very smart; I just don't see her making those simple mistakes. I wish I could actually view the page so I could see what some of the content was like. In my personal opinion, it is most likely a fake. Most fansites on MySpace are completely different and inclulde a lot of fun backgrounds and a multitude of ways to "celebrate" the celebrity (i.e. videos, photos, tour dates for singers, official links, etc.). Doesn't sound like this is the case for this site.

Yeah. Those mistakes were pretty lame-o. I think Emily is way too smart for that. Not that it's not easy to make those kind of mistakes, but she would probably proof-read, which that post obviously was not.

AND I highly doubt she would ever post "awesome" in her own URL. She is totally not conceited like that.

AND I don't think most celebrity's have their profiles set to private, do they? I mean, doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose? Maybe I'm wrong, but I hardly ever add official celebrity pages, and I've never had trouble accessing them.

And lastly (this reason is slightly vague), I would imagine if Emily DID have an authentic MySpace page that she frequented, she would be on the top friends list of She & Him (Zooey's band), since they just have people up there mostly, which she's not.

ANYWAY. I really wish it WAS hers though, you know? How awesome that would be.

Meegs, search my facebook friends she's the only "emily deschanel" on the list, on the first page so it will be an easy find. As for the site on myspace, I agree, with the grammatical errors, also remembers she's 32 years old, so she isn't a kid. So things such as "emilyxx_awesome" is something a high school student would use for their URL. plus theirs an overload of things about Emily from her filmography to a multitude of videos and video slideshows that would take a while for emily to put together. Plus at her age, I don't think a myspace would be that appealing to her. I mean I'm 22 and even i think it's getting kind of old. So at 32, i can only imagine how it looks to her. She seems too classy for myspace. Plus the website is very in your face with a ton of pics of Emily as well as a background of her face, and to me Emily doesn't seem like the kind of person who would scream, "look at me" ya know?

Well tears, now that you've said all THAT, I must officially conclude that it is indeed a fake. Yes, she is far too classy for it. It is quite sad that people out there think it's fun to post fake sites for their favorite celebs and lure people in so they think it's real. Craziness.
