Daniel Craig is one of the worst looking actors ever
I can't watch anything with him in it.....
he has gorgeous blue eyes....but the rest of him....*urgh**shudder*

they look like I imagine them 10 years back....but now they are both over 40.....Ryan has to be close to 50 if you think about it....so I guess they look like them, but they are too young

Oh, Kate Walsh might be good! I think all of the others are too young, though. Like Tozika said, Tempe and Ryan are in their mid-40s at least. I love Katie Holmes though! And Matthew McConaughey could work. Don't really see him as a detective though.

Hehe, so true, ToZika! I am having such a hard time envisioning an actor to play Ryan. I am going to rack my brain until I come up with something. Blue eyes...who has fascinating blue eyes and is in their 40s?

He looks really creepy there. I didn't have anyone in mind for Ryan but I imagine him a bit lankier than IndianaJones. He's described as slender and lithe in the books. and with a very cute butt too Smile

I have only read five books and Grave Secrets wasn't one of them but I think I read her eyes were hazel/brown, maybe I'm wrong though. Anyway I always imagined her with copper hair. Since I read the books after the TV show started, my Tempe is a mix of Emily Deschanel for the facial structure but with a less stronger jaw and Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara from Prison Break) for the eyes, hair and figure.

I just began reading Kathy Reichs books and I've been wracking my brain trying to decide who to picture. I skimmed over this topic and I'd probably go with Jodie Foster as Tempe. Ryan's a bit tougher. Paul Newman definitely fits and I was also thinking of Robert Redford when he was in "Out of Africa".
