Does anyone remember any reference to Brennan acquiring another car after hers was buried in the Aliens in a Spaceship epi?

no i dont spacekid but im not actually sure they were buried in her car. Brennans car is small whereas the car they were buried in was more like a jeep or landrover 4x4 vehicle

I'm pretty sure they were buried in her car b/c she had her stuff for the gym (water bottles, etc.) and they had a camera and her mini-kit. I'm just curious b/c I've read a fic or two that refer to her car and they are otherwise set after the Aliens ep.

That's true.. But if you watch closely you can see Brennan walking up to a silver sportscar, in that parking lot.. It looks pretty small in there. And, when Cam, Angela etc. go look in the parking lot, the car is still there. Or am I wrong?

OK I just rewatched the scene and I don't think there's any way that it was Brennan's car that they were buried in. Her car is MUCH smaller than the one they were buried in. I guess the Gravedigger just buried Brennan and Hodgin's stuff along with them?!? As my husband said, "How convenient!" And her car was still there in the scene where the squints went to the garage. So Magic and Addy were actually right - thanks guys!

ok the soccer mom in the mini van ep. they never really said who killed Neal Walkins, cos at the end when Booth arrests Jeremy Nash he only charges him for the murder of his wife. but Sam was released from jail..and they said Neals death wasnt suicide, i juist dont think they tied up the loose ends properly...i guess its cos they make the crimes itself the back story

Good point. I was thinking that it was the dad because he thought that they were cheating on him which would give him motive. But your right, they never really clarified on that!

ok another question from me. Was 'the secret in the soil' really the first time we see Booth wear gloves?
I swear i remember him putting on a pair before and it wasnt on properly or was it torn? or was it hodgins and not booth at all?
can anyone remember which ep im thinking of or is it just something i made up in my head??

That is the first time we saw Booth in gloves!! Haha, you're right and I forgot that point. The time where it wasn't on properly was from, "the man with the bone" in season 1 and it was Hodgins!! That was SO funny!!

spacekid, that took me awhile to figure out too. But I'm pretty sure they just found a different car and if you watch the episode, Hodgins is carrying his bag and so is Brennan. I always thought that's where all the stuff came from. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I rewatched the ep and that's what I deduced as well... it wasn't Bren's car and they were buried with their bags. I guess the Gravedigger was willing to give them half a chance, huh?!

Looney if you remeber in season 2 the Mother and Child in the Bay Booth has a glove on but it was not put on right. He wears it when they are searching through her bag.

you know I have been wondering about one thing.... Brennan is shocked when Carly, the cook is killed in the "glowing bones", because "she is not used to know the victims, they are always strangers", BUT the episode "bodies in a book" takes place before and in that episode her lecturer dies and she is not overly shocked, although she should know that woman better than a famous cook she only met once....... what do you say? is that strange?

Not to bring up an old point, but I'm positive they were in Brennan's car in Aliens in a Spaceship. I just watched it this morning and she says 'I was on my way to karate so we've got.....etc.'

i think when she said she was on her way to karate she had her bag on her with water and stuff in. I really cant see it being brennans car. Brennan drives a small sporty looking car whereas the one they were buried in was much bigger like a 4x4. I think she was just refering to what supplies she had in her bag x

I would say it should be her car because she wanted to drive to karate. But it does not look like a Mercedes sportscar. Well let´s take a liberty and say her car was in inspection and she had a rental car.... But I guess the producers were not thinking of the clever bunch watching the show with Argus eyes.

I havent seen the episode in a while, but i dont think they were in Brennan's car. They might have been in the car that ran Hodgins over, it looked like an Jeep type vehicle

From the views of the silver car that are given when the rest of the squints are discussing Bones and Hodgins' kidnapping, it looks likes Bones' car is still in the parking garage. It matches with the scene earlier when we see her just before she's zapped, and it looks like the same car, to me, from other episodes.

Also, I always got the impression that the car they were buried in was a little older, from the seat texture, the radio display, over all feel. They did say that the Gravedigger did get things from cash auctions and the like.

The car that runs Jack over looks like a small SUV or a modern jeep... both of which would have more space in them then the one they are buried in.

That's my 2 cents.
