Maybe Baby?

DB I mentioned in another thread that Emily might be pregnant, but I haven't heard anything on that front so maybe the PTB don't need to come up with a reason for an expanding bump.

But, I really like the idea of a baby. They could get alot of distance out of that particular line of thinking. At least another 2 seasons!

Definitely not looking forward to the baby thing. I actually enjoyed Brennan not having children. Her then 'changing her mind' is so... not her. I don't know, if they are going to have a relationship, I'd rather see that play out for a while without bringing babies into the mix.

oh, and @heirofloki: I completely agree. It does smell a little fanfictiony. Not that I'm dissing fanfiction (I write alot myself and have written Brennan pregnant) but it's completely different than the show.

I think these two deserve a happy ending and I'd love to be able to be a voyeur in it...

And I doubt that she'll be pregnant, but that she'll WANT a baby. That might be walking the tightrope just a little too much--even for such a writer as HH. I think that it could be a future possibility, but as was said in interviews, we'll be "wanting more."

As someone who always liked the fact, that Brennan doesn't want kids I started to become cool w/ them maybe having a kid in the future. If they were to bring one in right away I would feel like the writers cheated B/B and the viewers out of so much that usually comes before that in a relationship. And w/ these two there is enough that they would have to work out... The writers would miss so many opportunities and blow a storyline too early on. The writers are smarter than that I like to think... So I label this spoiler a tease (for now...Maybe end of S5 would be alright)

Having read several different spoiler pieces related to all this...I just hope that they don't make the scenario something where Booth is facing his mortality (because of this health scare he is supposedly going to have) and is all emotionally distraught with his family issues etc. and agrees to some bizarre request from Brennan to try and reproduce- but with no acknowledgement of their emotional relationship and what it all means for that. I am hopeful that Hart Hanson can pull this off...but I fear the many ways that this could turn into a real disservice to the characters and make the show much less than what it has always been.
In general, I have not been impressed with season four and will rapidly lose interest in things next fall if the show does not get revitalized with some of its original concepts. But that's just me...

I have LOVED season 4! I think they're doing fantastic!

The idea of there not being a baby right away is a possibility, too. I mean, something's going to happen that they "won't be able to just walk away from.", so obviously there will be some kind of impact right away, just not necessarily a baby. Right away, anyway.

What is the possibility of Brennan actually agreeing to a relationship? Or some semblance of one? Because I don't really see Booth agreeing to just procreate with her. So either, one-the baby DOES get created in the finale roll in the hay or two--they reach some sort of consensus and actually decide to pursue some sort of relationship, one of the purposes being a child, but that not being the only purpose and all.

Oh, Season 4 has been so much fun! I'm so sad that the end is in sight, but I'm so excited, too!
