I know I haven't been on this board much the past year, but it was a home for me for years and I knew I could always come here to vent about something, to just say hi to someone.... Thank you, peeps, you've been great!

Another sleepless night with thoughts of just about everything going through my mind. (This turned into more of a diary entry than a post, so if you're not into the epic version, just know that you'll all be sorely missed!)

I remember wandering into the IHBFC trying to figure out how to chat! Always nervous because it felt like everybody knew each other so well and were such good friends, had the best manners (Hello Sherry! Good Night Sherry! Please. Thank you. BRB...), knew how to be colorful and witty and entertaining! It was even fun sitting in there till the wee hours of the morning just whistling or singing to myself the few times I did it. That's how I met Way.

Then there were hours on end spent in the FF forum (and, by way of recommendations, over at FanFiction.net. I believe Sensate Focus was my first foray there. WooHoo!). Have I not mentioned hundreds of times already how I never read before FF?! Even if I didn't have a score of other ways to say it, that one part of the ABY has changed my life forever. I even wrote a few stories, and one of them was even a little toasty! (I remember ToZ saying about that one that she didn't know about it because she liked it when they talked! haha) Fly even introduced me to FictionPress.net where I published one too and tried a couple others that never did pan out. And there's the bit of beta-ing I did, mostly for Robert. And folks, you will never know. I've read plenty of his stuff that's wonderful that he's never published, and heard quite a few more, full length stories, in detail, that I bet he's never clacked keys over.

I won't ever have the chance to finish that "User Manual" I had started in the Mods forum! That was more my writing speed, but it seems that once I got distracted from it I just never could get myself back to it.

I loved the Jokes thread when it was going. I think I put the 2nd post in there - and that one still cracks me up! One day in particular was just glorious there. Robert and Pimp were just going for it and then finally Pimp just started laying it on thick - I doubt I've laughed more in the space of a day in my life. And Turi even had to go in there and put a warning on the thread because they were getting pretty naughty.

I remember when my mom took a sudden turn for the worse. I didn't have any place to hide, except lurking around in here. I'd gotten this from Fly
and printed it off and took it to my mom in the hospital and she'd shown it to everyone, because even though she knew next to nothing about the internet, she was addicted to her email. And when she died you all were my friends all around me.

Then there was the day when Robert claimed the crown. He got an award for that one!

And I'll never forget how over the top thrilled and nervous I got when willi asked me to help her admin the site. I don't think I've ever been more honored! Thanks Linds.

I remember G-Woman showing up and just making herself instantly at home. And then one day Mr G showed up as well, so he'd get to spend more time with the missus. Mr G was Member #500! and there was even a little hurrah for him in the IHBFC.

Before season 5 we decided to do a trivia quiz. Remember these?

Dawn was the brains of the operation. I just had fun putting the graphics together and coming in every night and scoring everybody's answers. Come to think of it, wasn't it Snoop that rarely got one right? Or was that Sany? Well, whoever it was made me feel all the better because I was glad I had the cheat sheet!

Then there was the time I PM'd ForensicMama with a heartfelt diatribe, that no matter how much I'd tried to temper it, still must've cut to the quick, because she's never really been back. And I've missed her ever since.

And there was flying up to Boston to meet Fly and Kasper and Fluff and Gimme. And my little rubber duckie I brought home.

And I'm sure that writing all this down won't keep a million other things from coming to mind, but I thought it might help, maybe.

So, how about ending on a high note. If there's anything I'll be eternally grateful to Zeddie for it's creating that wonderful "Hot pic of DB" thread - and for Smudge (aka Chocolate Chip) for being one of my favorite picture poster! Can I get an 'Amen' on that?! I'll leave you with one of my favorites!

This place has seriously been my second home.
I remember when I first joined, i was too scared to go into IHBFC because everyone was talking so fast and I couldn't keep up so I would just lurk around there until I finally worked up the courage to post.

I remember all the fun games, the trivia, the 3 word at a time story, the jokes, the links, getting hooked on spoilers, weening myself off, all the fantastic people I've met here, finding out Meegs was coming to Aus, showing her around my city, drooling over Booth, being honoured after I was asked to be a mod, late night/everyone else's morning chats....
Man i'm going to MISS THIS PLACE!!!!

Oh man... I will miss this forum. So many good memories :-). I was a lurker for a looong time, and then I finally got the courage to join and post about something I wanted to comment on (don't even remember now). And I remember when that was because it was either the day before or the day after I got engaged! And then fly messaged me mentioning this "IHBFC" thread where people just chatted... so I poked my head in and that was that :-). That following summer I easily spent more time chatting on here than I did working ;-). I would list examples, but I'm going to keep this short and sweet (and try not to get emotional!).

I'm very thankful that this existed... to pull people like me out of the woodwork and get the courage to post. It's definitely the welcoming feel of the place that did it. No other forum had people (like fly, and others) that actively encouraged people to join in the chatting and nonsense. And I love it. I'm thankful for the great people I've met through here! So, Willi, thank you for creating this great forum, but while you were the brains and the muscle behind it, really I'm thankful for all of the people this forum collected. Because it was the welcoming, fun personalities that truly made this a gathering place. I'm not going to name names, because I'll leave someone out and hurt someone's feelings, but just know, to everyone reading this (even if I've never "met" you on here before), I'm happy you were here :-). And thank you.

Ok this is just a memory that came to me earlier. I'm going to post my final thoughts later.

But I remember back before we even started here a late night conversation between myself, will, a2b, and bella. Not sure you you three will even remember it but there was talks of calling ourselves the BBBB Booths Big Breasted Bitches. I believe it was bella that came up with the idea of a bear costume that would be bedazzled with BBBB on it. A2b I think mentioned jackets each with a pink sparkly B on the back.

Just something I thought was freaking hysterical that came out of insomnia and silliness that I thought I'd share.

-straitjackets in different colors (mine was blue....I think Cup had some sparkly stars on hers)
-spending 2 days(!) choosing the right guys to use for my sig (thanks Kat, I used it till this week!)
-Birthday parties
-drunk-talking
-joking around with Pimp, Cup and Magic.....that ended being very naughty most of the time and we should consider ourselves lucky that the mods never went back to read all the posts in the IHBFC.....
-there was this one time when I thought I was alone and I started to tell my whole life-story and in the end it turned out that I wasn't alone at all.....Pheobs and Pimp were there but didn't want to interrupt my story
-posting random stuff and talking to ourselves in the IHBFC
-69!!!!!!!!!!!!
-the drool bib and bucket
-meeting all the cool people (Sany, Turi, Fly, A2B/Cup/Princess, Will, Sherry, Pimp, G and D, Karlia, Cassi, Fab, Cheese, Rike, Nane and all the others from the German thread, Jonezy, Mary, Kat, Bess, Deb, Jay, Squirt, Casey, Kas, Poly, Snoop, Razz, howie, Indy, Francie, Phoebs, Bella, Loe, Das, Rolfi, Kay, Vane, Red, Claire, AnaG and just recently bf99. Also Rob (although we never really got along for longer than 10 minutes at a time, we had some nice discussions) and Dawn (congrats you two btw!) I'll miss your InkSlingers, BUG (sorry I forgot to mention you here the first time I wrote this), everyone that's been gone for a while already but came back for a last goodbye! and everyone I might have missed (again) now) you all played a big part in making this forum a place I liked to visit every day. thank you for that!

This is probably going to be my last post on the ABY. I first discovered the ABY during the winter hiatus when I was totally bored...so I went looking for Bones spoilers. I discovered bonesspoilersblog, which lead me to the ABY. What I liked most about the ABY was that it seems like community...and everyone seem so nice. I'm really going to miss discussing, speculating what is going to happen next, laughing at Tink's anagrams...and meet so many cool people.

Willgirl, thank you for creating this awesom forum. My fellow ABY-ers, I hope to see you at the Founding Fathers. That being said, I have nothing really left to say except...Good bye, the ABY!!!

I will miss this site. Never had the time to be much of a poster sadly. But this is where I would come to get all the spoilers and news about the show. I loved the Inkslingers and show discussions, but could never add anything because you all read my mind!

Some other memories of mine were counting down my posts (and others) to your 'fun numbers'. I learned to love languages after meeting people from all over the world! I'll never forget y'all!

One memory I don't think any of the old guard will ever forget...

I'll miss the place. So many memories...

I remember one day in the IHBFC Cassi started talking about the Estonia music festival. She asked me to watch it with her, so we sat and watched it in there. It was soo cool to watch a national celebration like that. Karlia would've been there chatting with us, but she was actually AT the festival!

Ooohhh! I remember that one too It was soo cool! Than you for reminding me!

I took a few deep breaths and pulled the book Willi made for me with everybody else's help during a very tough time in my life...... and took pictures because for me this is tangible proof that this place has always been a tight nit family

I'm going to miss you all so much, even though some of you will be going to the Founding Fathers it just won't be the same really. No more Sherry, or ToZ, or Turi. I'll miss the "discussions" ToZ and I would get into, the teasing, the way Sherry was always around when Pimp and I would start something, and the way Turi would always manage to bust us everytime we got a little too risque with Ella, the late night chats in IHBFC those few times I would indulge and the amazing people I met here - yes, I know I've said it before but everyone here is so amazing it just doesn't seem fair that we're not all going to be together anymore.

I think I'm gonna go to the washroom now 'cause I've got something in my eyes.
