Question: So before you leave to open your Smurf museum, could you tell me if Bones will have a Christmas episode this season? —Amanda
Ausiello: Most likely not. There’s some uncertainty about what order Bones‘ November/December episodes will air in because of the World Series, so I think all parties felt it was easier not to do one this year.

Ahhh...I love Bones' Christmas episodes, but if we get a really juicy good ep, I'll forgive them.

And can I just say how much it sucks that the World Series is going to interrupt what I perceive to be a great Season 6. Just when we get on a good roll here, it's replaced with baseball. Arghhh!!!!!!

There goes my plan for how the Hannah story was going to end...

Ok I love baseball and I love Bones-but I hate it when baseball interrupts a really good storyline. I would much rather see ep 8 for instance then watch baseball. Can't we come to an agreement and I don't know, move baseball to a different station????

agreed plus Christmas > baseball. Christmas should never loose to baseball

Doesn't Bones usually do a Christmas episode every other season?
because we had one in season 1, 3 and 5 but not one for season 2 and 4 from what I can recall so I really didn't expect a Christmas episode this season but i do expect one next season

I love baseball and Bones as well, but this year my SF Giants are in it so i'm not complaining. The ratings that Baseball Post season brings to Fox are well worth the postponing of a few episodes of Bones, and all the other shows....It gives the Network a lot more money to work with due to increased advertisement charges, and it runs through the sweeps, which is a major benefit to the Network. In turn to the shows the Network supports. So I say, love your show? Support Post season Baseball. They work hand in hand. Also, at the end of February/beginning of March, when all of the other shows are over, and there's nothing on but re-runs...FOX kicks butt on the ratings, because there's still several weeks of new shows running. It's a win win.
