I remember that now! Geez I am getting slow in my old age! Hubby doesn't really like it either. He watched it at the drive-in the first time and that's it.

Oh, the movie is so sad...

It really is, but there are so many great parts in it. I have very few I will watch over and over. This is one of them. The Tenth Kingdom is another. But that's an all day movie marathon.

OMG almost no one that I know has ever seen that movie. I LOVE it ( and own it!) the book was pretty good too.

FanFiction.net has a few stories using it. I haven't read any though. Fly was the first person I met that knew it. Everyone thinks I am nuts for watching an 8hr movie!

I watched it when it was on TV originally...then bought the book, then bought the VCR tapes, then finally bought the DVD's! lol

I sent it to my brother when he was in Germany and didn't have cable..it took some convincing, but he ended up loving it. I also got a friend's daughter to watch it too. I think she was 10 at the time.

OMG! That's same as me..except for the book. I do think it came with the DVD's though..I seem to remember having it at one point.
