It sounds very nice! I'm a surfer (a beginner, but i can do it) so i really enjoy the beach for that reason i think.

Haha, I don't surf. Though I do like going to the beach. I haven't been in a few years, though.

I try to spend as much time at the beach as i can

Well, it's about 4 hours away from me, so I don't get there as much as I'd like. Not that 4 hours is a lot for me to drive...I love to drive and I go places all the time. But it's just kind of hectic...we just never seem to go.

Beach is about an hour or so from me... unfortunately i don't drive which makes it a little difficult. Also another reason i don't go camping often.

I really do need to get up and make my taco salad soon...but I don't feel like it...

I should go wash my face, brush my teeth and try and get some sleep.. but i can't be bothered.

Haha, I know that feeling...

btw, if I disappear, I either decided to get up, or I fell asleep...lol

I am feeling just dandy today, despite the Flyers loss last night. I have a picnic today, tomorrow I'm going to Hersheypark, and game 2 will be on tomorrow night. And I'm almost finished a chapter...the first real writing I've done in a month!

Yes, a family picnic, for the holiday. We usually do it on Sunday rather than Monday...I'm not sure why, though, lol.

The game...well, the score was 6-5 when the smoke cleared...lol. No worries, that's why it's a best of 7.

And yes, I was quite excited about the writing...I was starting to think my muse had totally left me. Turns out she just went on vacation...

It's my son's first birthday in 10 days. I can't believe it's been a year! At the same time, it feels like 10 years! I am bound and determined to bake him a cake. lol!! If I start practicing now, I might get bit by then. hahaha

It's Memorial Day tomorrow. A day to remember all those that lost their lives serving our country, and to honor those that are still fighting.

Oh yeah. I remember that one now. In the States, do you have ceremonies on Nov 11, or is it on this weekend? My Grandfather was in the Air Force, so he always taught me to honour soldiers and their sacrifice. I don't believe in war, personally, but I understand it's neccessity. If that makes sense?

Yeah, in November it's Veteran's Day. Same kind of thing.

And it makes perfect sense...I feel the exact same way.

I COULD DO THAT!! Sweet! Mr G can make the waffles, and I can spoon fruit on them. lol! It's perfect! A solid group effort.
