I started reading Steven King's "On Writing" today. It's pretty good. He lived a very interesting life as a kid. It sounds so old fashioned, back when kids actually played outside and made things and hurt themselves with their toys.

You ever read it?

I haven't written anything since the weekend before last. I hope to soon, though...I'm almost finished a chaper, I wish I could just get it done.

When I was reading this I saw Calvin's scream. He made you sound like you were anguishing over it. tongue
Hahahahaha!

You know what I think is crazy? That a man and his girlfriend can go to the police and complain about a facebook post from his wife, saying it's harassment, and she gets a call from the police to stop all contact. Yet kids are getting bullied over the internet to the point that they commit suicide, and nothing is being done. I could live to be 1000 years old and still not understand. That illegal dog fighting videos and racists shouting slurs at a soldier's funeral are covered under 'freedom of speech'. Actually, there are so many things like that around that it just makes me insane. *shakes head* I'm pretty sure our founding fathers are rolling in their graves right now...

It's not really a biography. It's his book about writing. He's starting off with snapshots of things that he remembers about his early life. And it is very interesting! I've laughed plenty already and I'm only on page 25.

Omg "The Stand" is one of my favorite books ( and the horror genre is so not my thing.) Such an awesome book, and plausible too, which is what makes it scary.

Haha, I know. But seriously...when the Constitution was written, when these laws were made, do you really think they knew what was to come? Freedom of Speech my ass. Our 'freedoms' should not be all inclusive. And why is it that the right of anyone to elect not to buy insurance supersedes my right to not have to have my tax money used to pay for their healthcare when they get sick and can't pay? Why must my children be forced to learn the THEORY of evolution, but not allowed to learn the THEORY of creation?

They periodically show it on our horror channel here, so I get to see it then, but I've never seen it for sale before.
