I'm really not concerned about catherine. It's just a substitution in my opinion. Tamara said in her interview booth just wants to have a good time....and catherine achieves that for him. She also said catherine is "brennan lite" which means it's clear it's just a replacement just like Jared was booth lite.

I think it'll just be like any other cliche storyline.....the two couples who really want to be together can't...so they settle for other parties. I'm still bummed that the writers felt they needed to go there at all since it's such an over done plot...but ah well. I'm certain it will move them forward in some size, shape, or form or else it would be pointless. We know hacker is now on another show or pilot or something like that and we know Rena said she's not interested in reoccuring on bones.


Does anyone remember this girl from her bad girl stint on 90210 (the original) man her character was a crazy bitch. i can't picture as not crazy now. lol edit: it was either 90210 or melrose....i can't remember. they all blend together

I don't call remember B&B talking about their dates in the sides either... just the tie and the magazine subscription... but it's their true, like tinkrella said, in the real world there's only a week between episodes, but it may have been be longer for them, so we don't know how much time passes between each episode for them.

I don't think there is anything to worry about because Rena Sofer said she has no interest in being a recurring character on Bones, so she will probably only be in 1 episode and mention in a few and it seems like the focus is going to be more on how this affects B&B's relationship rather than what actually happens with Booth and the Catfish. And there's no need for the "I hate Catherine" facebook page and the bomb shelters because it's safe to say that Booth is not going to marry this girl and nothing serious will happen. I'm not thrilled with this whole dating other parties because we can't be together story line, but I'm okay with Booth going on a few dates with this girl because this boat does need to be rocked a little bit and it will probably move B&B forward (Emily said that the change will be "positive", well B&B might have a falling out and date other people, but the outcomes might be positive)

I just hope the "Booth just wants to have fun" doesn't mean the that Booth is going to sleep with the Catfish. I remember when Jared was first introduced and everybody freaked out because they said that real sparks will fly between Jared and Brennan, but they only went on 1 date and they kissed. I think they always make it sound more horrible than it really is, so I don't think the Catfish will be anything more than a blip on the B&B radar screen because they will work out eventually.

thank GOD I wasn't a fan of this show during the jared/brennan adventure lol it's seems to trivial now to think back b/c really....the episode ended up being more emotional because brennan called booth a loser (well...didn't correct that statement) instead of because she went out with jared.

the episode description leads me to believe this entire other people thing will be more about BB's journey then what they are doing with the other parties. unlike the sully scenario....where we saw brennan's journey with sully. (wayyyy wayyy too much sully IMO) lol

Yeah. I totally think that the focus will be more on B&B's relationship, rather than what happens with the third parties. I finally saw the pics of the Catfish because I said I wasn't going to see them, but I did anyways. And the Catfish is pretty, but Brennan is so much prettier. The 1st pic is interesting though. Brennan looks a little peeved when Booth and the Catfish. (jealous Brennan???!!!)

I just watched "The Man in the SUV" and Booth is dating Tessa, so Brennan is asking him all about his relationship with Tessa and she's like "what if you and Tessa brake up and she poisons you, but she gets impatient, so she blows you up." It kind of seems like she is a little jealous considering now that we know she really liked him when they first met.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing actually. I have enough angst in my life, why add Bones-relationship angst to it! I've never actually seen Truth in the Lye, I heard about Booth's flings in it and decided to avoid it. Once Booth and Brennan are together as a couple then I'll be able to watch it!
